@sjerngal Got both doses of covaxin. After first jab, I had slight pain in my arm for a couple of days. After second jab, I had fever after a day along with pain in arm.

Had covaxin today, feeling nothing at all.
Is that weird?

After 1st dose I just had arm pain for a day, nothing else. Let's see what happens after 2nd dose next week.

Hi people!

Don't you ever feel the dissonance when you are working to change the society and unable to change ur parents. The standard reply I get is " DO KITAABE ZYADA PADHLI HAI TO HUME MAT SIKHA , TUMSE ZYADA DUNIYA DEKHI HAI" and then I am like " kya desh badloge khud ki zindagi to badli ni jaari " .

I thinktryingto improve things is the main part.

How are you managing to get the second dose? Isnt the gap between two shots extended ?

Got my second shot of Covaxin on 31st May. Had slight soreness in arm for a day after the first shot. None whatsoever after the second. Most of my covishield friends reported fever for a day after their first shots.

I tried hard to get Covaccine as I had heard it has little or no side effects. But went for Covishield due to easier availability.  And now am stuck with the second dose with the extended gap

First dose after a month should provide you sufficient protection though. My mom tested positive after 10days of her first dose but my father tested negative since he was 60+ and got his first dose 5 weeks before. He couldn't have tested negative if not for vaccine as they share the same room and quite impossible for him to not catch infection.

I got lucky, managed to get a slot on the 2nd day after 18+ vaccination opened in my state. Initial 3 days they had Covaxin, after that I guess they ran out of Covaxin stock.

Took Covidshield's 1st dose last week. Had fever for a day or two, had body ache.  felt sleepy and arm pain remained for 4-5 days.

Really felt like this in the morning. Woke up with half the body aching, severe fever and headache. Haven't felt this shitty for a very long time. Now, fever and headache have receded but arm me pain hai. Hoping to get well before the end of the day.

Yeah you should be fine by tonight or max by tomorrow.

Having been recovered from Covid, I was not expecting any side-effects. But despite that the night following the jab was like this for me. Felt like a Covid relapse 😂 with all the chills and fever and terrible body-ache.

Next day it was completely fine but. In hindsight, I also feel an improvement in energy levels which were strangely off and on post Covid.

It seems like covishield has side effects in majority of people especially younger ones. I too experienced chills and fever for a day or two.

The journey of vaccine starts from the doubt that whether you have been inoculated properly to side effects reaching to a level where you think whether you have been given an actual virus or got infected in the vaccination centre itself.
