The Civils Mains result has been declared. This thread is for sharing your grief , joy , mixed feelings - absolutely anything and everything.
Since the calendar has been revised, they may conduct the exam anytime between prelims and mains. It would be a disaster to give epfo almost a week for preparation just before mains. Is anyone planning to cover the accounting, labour and social security part before July end? We can divide the workload amongst each other. I've already made notes out of the class 11th accountancy book. Can finish the complete syllabus in 3 days if we work our asses off
MCQ of the day! Just to keep the thread aligned with theexam:D
I have posted the answer below. Think long and hard before scrolling down :)
This question is classic case of options framed quite naively. You can check 2nd is common at first place in 3 options; 4th is common at second place in 2 options; 1st is common at the last place in 3 options. Mark the options which satisfy all of them. Sadly, upsc is smart enough to not form options like these, state service still follows this. Also other school level exams like ntse, kvpy.
I knew the answer already, didn't attempt with this jugaad tho :3

Figured german hai Bergschrund being "berg" for mountain, so initially hi hoga. blowholes towards landward end of coast and then alluvial fan surely when water goes to seas and make this pattern. Had no idea about Neugen.
While option elimination is alright but wanted to ask if these terms are in those 4 NCERTs of 11th and 12th or some test series stuff? I'll be more worried about my revision then if in ncerts. Thanks.

Alright, thanks.
I found this fascinating channel about geography last year. Many topics are in our syllabus. The videos are not exhaustive, but they are so beautiful and interesting that they’ll make you want to study geography immediately right from the first few seconds - especially useful if you find it boring like me. It’s a true labour of love from the creator.
Attaching one of my favs.

I’ve seen so many videos from this channel. Even the ones on specific countries like Iran 😂
