@D503 @mehuifs @Usain_bolt  thanks, guys! Sometimes the scores rattle you. Even in Polity or History, sometimes they go so deep, and when I check PYQ, questions are moderate.

Hence, for now, done with mocks, ab keval revision.

Bhai mocks have become a real mockery. No point in getting intimidated after that. Especially not you, you know how to qualify pre and you know what worked for you.

I understand Bhai. But somehow, the fear is so consuming. Will focus on revision for a while now.

"To protect consumer intrest by providing essential agriculture commodities at reasonable rates by PDS"

Is this statement correct w.r.t objectives of Commission for agri cost and prices?

Does CACP get into essential commodities also?

It's official website doesn't say anything like this but a PYQ  question marks this statement correct.

They cant fix the MSP, they just recommend and pass it over to CCEA to decide. So deciding and executing for PDS sounds very unlikely. Moreover, they are attached office of ministry and they are mostly into recommendations and data study than (likely) deciding for ECA which is backed by a statutory act.

@SergioRamos I scored 140 in the previous forum mock and the very next day attempted some vision open test , scored 39. Lol. These mock scores mean nothing. Just gather new info if you feel that’s relevant and move on.

How are the other election commissioners removed? Like if the CEC recommends to remove then are they removed? Or after recommendation parliament also has to pass reosltuion with 2/3rd majority?

Do you know, margaret cousins aren't cousins. It's the surname.

To some extent Score in mocks depends on our current affairs source. if we have covered current from that same institute, one can see the difference of 10-20 marks easily. in case of Forum I got 90-130 , in case of Rau it is 70-90, in case of Shankar it is 80-90.

I don't think the other election commissioners require parliamentary approval, the prez can remove them on the reco of CEC.
Art. 324(5) states the conditions for removal of CEC and EC separately.

Cannot find any reliable/updated compilation of  mineral resources and their largest producer/s(in India as well as worldwide). Created my own list for quick revision from various sites but not sure of how accurate my drafted information is. Please have a look and point out if there is/are any incorrect info in this; would be of great help.

The red star indicates largest producer.

Mineral Resources.pdf

P.S. If anyone has made a summary of Indian Minerals Yearbook 2019, kindly share please.

Thanks for the list. I remember last year there was a thread where people posted about important topics and put up the relevant materials for prelims. Can someone post the link of that thread as I tried to search for it but could not find it.

Even not exact, You can use the ncert knowledge like Spiti and Ravi river meets Satluj, coming from the north. It eliminates C and D. Now you can think here that Zaskar river may have some linkage with Zaskar mountains; and zaskar mountains are part of the trans Himalayas, located north of the Great Himalyas. This will lead to option B.
