Let's create a small community of football lovers out there. This thread intends to add value to our knowledge of the game and to hone our understanding about the game. Although football comes with banter, let us try to keep the discussion objective and civil to the maximum extent possible.
Both Messi and Ronaldo are the legends of the game. Period. So, please do not bring up this debate :)
All, what is your Top-4 PL prediction ?City
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal/West ham
West Ham is doing quite well. Just not consistently though, and squad depth is an issue for them. But Moyes has done really fantastic job. Just remembered it now, he was Manutd manager. Think that club has much deeper problems than just a manager.
Unpopular opinion- SAF didn’t leave behind a sustainable winning team, just made sure he won with whatever players he had at his disposal.
Also I personally think they shouldn’t have bought Ronaldo as they were doing perfectly fine and it was more of emotional buy and kind of disturbed the harmony.

If west ham can get Lingard in this window then it’ll be a boost for them…lingard wants to leave as well so yeah that’s possible. Also Moyes would have been the favourite to get United job next summer had not been a failure in his earlier spell. Although i do feel that he got neither enough backing nor enough time but that’s a different story.
United have a much deeper problem than just a managerial issue. For instance for far too long Ed Woodward with 0 footballing knowledge was at helm of footballing affairs, only very recently he delegated power and appinted a director of football and a technical director. I’m big fan of Juve and Bayern in the aspect…they have pavel nadved and oliver kahn at CEOs respectively which shows the character of club. Ragnick is trying to re build a character that had been missing from this club and in long term i think it is very good idea that they have offered him a powerful role in the board. At the moment though it’ll be a massive challenge to salvage this season.
And about Ronaldo…well look we have to acknowledge that last season the side was good but it was lacking a cutting edge in big games. Look how they crashed out of UCL after being top of thier group in 4 games. Ronaldo adds that predator mentality and without his goals this side would be bottom of ucl and probably 14-15 in PL. The major error in recruitment last season was prioritising Donny over a pure DMF which has been a major flaw in the shape of this team.
@AzadHindFauz Somebody shared this with me:"In 2014 Arsène Wenger gave Aaron Ramsey a huge contract, so Arsenal couldn’t match those wages when it came to renew. He then went to Juventus on £400k-a-week plunging them into a financial crisis, meaning that they can’t afford Dušan Vlahović.Arsène Wenger, he's done it again! " Of course with a traditional Arsene Wenger smirk.Never gets old
Haha. This never gets old. Aaj kya lagta hai? Are we going to Wembley?
@KingSlayer23 Yea totally and without having to worry about tests that we would have to write on weekends.
Yesss
hopefully United beats west ham and makes the top 4 scenario more interesting. Although ronaldo is doubtful with an injury
