what is polycrack technology

Waste tot energy technology . Waste is converted to carbon, gas.. The technology involves de-polmerization, cracking, reforming, scrubbing, particle filtration and rapid quenching. The major benefit of the method is that it doesnt need to segregate wet and dry waste.

Good evening sir, myself an aspirant for UPSC having some doubts

1) What to choose between Newspaper reading and Institute Current Affairs Compilation like of Vision,Insightonindia etc.  and Why to choose it?

2) How to find Good discussion group?  or serious aspirants?

3) Please enlist websites to use during preparation?

4) Please tell about daily schedule....means how many hours for which study...and others

If you are a complete beginner, please read the newspaper. Follow the must read articles posted on the blog. They are good. I follow them, so as to not miss important information every morning.

Reading newspaper at this stage ensures that you develop better understanding. Later, like after 6 months or so you can do compilations and they will make sense for you. Otherwise you may never develop a good understanding of issues that is needed.

Note that for exam, just before exam, you do compilations. And do not waste time making notes of newspaper. Because in the beginning you have no understanding of what is important for the exam.  Thus you end up making too many notes.

Not worth it. Sorry for late reply

Can you share your opinion on managing optional right now with prelims revision ?
Once i start prepping for prelims if i move to other things i feel that i am loosing confidence.
But i failed at this mains partially because my optional, maths, requires me to be constantly in touch with it and i tend to loose it right at this point before prelims.

Can you share your insights ? Thanks

@Neyawn Hi sir
your saying not to make notes from newspaper -waste of time, but how to revise if i don't make it, as i will be
not able to remember after 2 to 3 weeks later.

Thank you

Optionals like Maths have genuine issues with respect to keeping in touch primarily because of the huge syllabus.

You can study it like 2-3 days in a week. Also, since you have cleared Prelims once before you should have things in better control. Having said that I think that in last two months if you are studying optional it cannot because you have to do optional. It can be due to the fact that you are sick of studying for GS Prelims.

why I am concerned about the rational or thought process is because it shows your focus. Right now the focus cannot be anything but Prelims. You may do optional right now because you are bored. not because optional should be done now.
