Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread

@madeyeLol same here. Just trying to read through whatever I can. Geo syllabus is too huge even to revise short notes I think. Finally gave up and now looking at maps and then have to look at hindi for a while.

@STIt used to be four years ago on the trijuction near Patel Nagar metro. It was generally spiked though.

Anyone with Sociology? How many thinkers you write per question? And what is the technique to recall the names ?

Apart from thinkers in paper 1 , memorise at least two thinkers from each topic of syllabus...Honestly its not easy to memorise and each and every thing and moreover questions in paper 2 are mostly current affairs oriented...we have to use at least 2 thinkers to validate our answers.
On 2-3 sheets, prepare a list of at least 2 thinkers from topics like communalism, informal market, environment , caste conflicts , feminism, religion, etc.Apart from 2 thinkers giving general points in answers could also work.
One more thing , please in thinkers of paper 1 , at least give one or two criticisms while concluding the answers.

@STYou could revise them tomorrow during 2 hrs break and 3 hrs in night before sleeping....we would be familiar with most of the questions but to give it sociological touch, just validate answers with at least two thinkers and you also take help from thinkers from paper 1.
examples question - phenomenon of feminism in india
ans - relative deprivation theory, strain theory, and then xyz like awareness, literacy, empowerment etc.

English paper me kitni strict checking hoti h ?... Grammar achi nhi h Meri... Any suggestions? Passing marks de dete h Kya ? Aur suna h ki agr compulsory paper me fail hote h to GS ki copies bhi evaluate nhi krte ?
