Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
@parismy expectation based on last year timeline.. Not before a gap of 35 days.
@parisi feel atleast amonth wud b given
Maybe.
I m telling based on 2014 experience when 15 days only was the gap.
But now considering DAF-2 also to be filled (unlike in 2014 when DAF was filled before mains itself), it may be few more days than 15 days.
Let's c.
@Dreadfulwhat is the hurry to give just about ~15 days. Last year final result was 2 months before pre 19, mains result declared on dec 20.
This year say jan 10th, it's only 20 days delay. I just expect the time b/w final result and pre 2020 will become lesser rather than any drastic change in the rest of timeline
Politics has become absolute poison in this social media era. I don't see sane political discussions anywhere. Every person is biased and wants to portray a narrative based on his/her ideological tilt. Following political news or accounts with political leanings creates way too much negativity.
I've reached the conclusion (others can disagree) that this is the best time to remain apolitical. Or read news only from the paper. Following politics on social media is probably the worst way to waste time
@Champakbhai an IRTS walo ka kya hoga Saari railway ki service merge hone ke baad
@Malcolm
same here bhai lets see how this inertia affects our future
@TETRACYCLINEThis delay is gonna hurt all those who are going to miss after interview
Even if the result comes by 10th, the DAF-II would take another week before it's available and then, another 20 days (bare minimum) for its submission. I think Interviews will begin in the last week of Feb and final result by first week of May?
What do you guys think?
@kochikaameexact same feeling bro I try to be neutral
Try to make reasons on both side of spectrum but
People are he'll bent on only one side of narrative
No point in doing debates best to remain out of till you find right group
@RaillifeWahi jo Kashmir ka hua tha 370 hatne ke baad !
@RaillifeOn a serious note, the cornering of top posts by IRTS will stop. I think it is a ploy to increase the pool of available officers for key posts that can be more suitable to the government's liking. I am hearing accounting services are next.
@Kira0705most of my school mates went to DU and some of them are in JNU as well now. They are so strong in their ideology with extreme unwillingness of not listening to the other viewpoint. Bhakts and right wingers are no better either while often being hateful.
It's a shitty time to be very involved in politics. Most propagandists/influencers are playing with our minds and spreading bitterness in the society. There's no place or space for a neutral person to voice his/her opinion.
Karnataka has many state funded universities,second largest number of private engineering colleges,one of the highest number of medical colleges!Top draw universities like christ,jain,manipal etc but political activity,vandalism,fightsetc are hardly seen!
I have done my engineering in a reputed college from Karnataka but never did we have any political gatherings ever!
How come trouble always finds its way in only certain institutions?
@ManchesterUnited
There are politics in universities in north known as student politics with elections and parties involved
@kochikaameBang on bro/sis ! You could further extend this to an ideology - communism or socialism or capitalism. I always believe there is no one size fits all approach. It is very dangerous to apply the whole concept to a solution for every problem. For solving any issue requires a solution for that particular context thru communities backed and evidence based policymaking not ideology (at best it can remain only a guide during a dilemma and serve as a moral compass). Blindly adopting an ideology by the govt (includes political thought)for every situation and citizens/journalists viewing from one is not only harming the society but widens the fault lines among everyone, even the neutral ones.
The moment I step on Twitter, FB et all, I dont know which side is right and which side is evil, (Side A says something, my brain says ok Side B is responsible. After sometime scrolling thru posts, there is an equally compelling argument -now brain says ok, Side A is a culprit).After going thru all this, I m even thinking is anything even real except the injury part. Such negativity since past few weeks and there is no end to this.
And the real sufferers are rural farmers, poor migrants in an enclosed shanty(who knows fire might start early morning), women, SC/STs and Divyangs(I am one and suffered discrimination and inaccessibility almost everywhere). No one is talking about them at all. These current issues do not serve any purpose to the country. Sorry to digress from this, but just makes me fill with so much negativity that I dont know what real purpose does it serve by me being a civil servant.
Dont want to sound idealistic but lets take a pledge that everyone here becomes aware of the real issues(I m sure you are) and not digress to these things. Let us become a very concerned voter , become aware of issues all around and educate others as well at the same time. Hope the sanity prevails among the responsible ones.
PS: My heart goes out to those students who are apolitical and wanted to start a good career but getting destroyed and injured with this, is truly shaming irrespective of any ideology.
@AzadHindFauz
mjhe lgtahai interview keliye kam time denge and 20 april tak result dedenge
@TETRACYCLINE20th April for results does not seem unrealistic at this point. If Mins results get delcared in the next 40 hours as expected, all the more likely.
