Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread
Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.

Essay written on this page is out of this world esp. After 3 months after the exam.
Now I m sure either DKT is an alien or a god.
Even 1st ranker don't write such awesome essays.
DKT sr aashirwad do.Aap to bhagan hain kyunki itne dimensions aur itne ssare examples exam ke 3 ghan te mein sirf bhagwan ko hi Yaad Aa sakte hain.
And the last line is epic ki "Aur bhi bahut kuch likha hai par abhi yaad nahi"

Scared. By listening to other people I feel I have written some stupid answers
@abhishek_pLet me give you some personal experience:
In 2017 I wrote very very bad essays-1st was on farming- I started with a story and filled the essay with data,and governement schemes without much actual content.There was no flow in essay and in one case wrote past dimension after present dimension.
2nd essay-I discussed only a single dimension(environmental) and could barely fill pages.
There was no quote in any of the essay or anything.
I managed 134 wherein that year rankers between 10-99 got marks around 143-144 etc.
Despite me writing such bad essays I got above average to average marks.

@bevancomi got 140 in 2017. I too wrote on farming issue. No use of single data or committee. Simply wrote historically, socially, economically, politically, ecologically............ Tries to do adventures in 2018.. started with poor story (framed in exam hall only).. ganda kata..
Conclusion: Simplicity is the best policy (if you don't have good writing skill).
intro: simply explain the meaning of topic if you can't think of any story or quote. mention various dimensions and simply conclude. Rest assured marks will not go below average.
