Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
@Ms-dhoni
I’m not too sure honestly. I’ve asked a few lawyer friends of mine and apparently some courts and judges don’t always get pronouncements listed in the causelist. But those judges apparently are a rarity
@mannemvasukinandan701yeah, specially with chairman bench.when do we know whether the case is listed in Tommorrows cause list?
@Ms-dhoni
Usually around 6:00 PM going by past few days
@mannemvasukinandan701means today there will be no verdict=>no result?????
@zombieland
As@AzadHindFauzmentioned, there is no listing. So maybe the verdict might not be out. And if no verdict then no result.
I really am hoping that Chairman’s bench pronounces verdict even though it’s not on causelist.
Upsc first time aise fasa hai kisi matter per wrna hamesha upsc k acc hi hota tha sab. Rti case ho ya marks declaration ya kuch b.mayb upsc expect nai kr rha tha k matter is height tk ayega k use result b rokna pdega wrna ye log phle hi kr lete kuch arrangement.
Ya toh ews walo ka issue phle hi end kr dete aur mains mein provisionally allow nai krte per ab agr result dia aur bd mein ews k favour mein gya case toh upsc fas jayegi.
Islye decision k wait hi krna hai upsc ko b aur sath mein hume b.
@Scorpion888The case made by the EWS candidates is strong or else it would have been dismissed by CAT much earlier. UPSC has been caught this time... Badhiya se! Despite their strong reputation, the case has dragged this far.
@AzadHindFauzgalti govt. Ki hai. Ews lekr aye toh states ko guidelines etc deke certificates etc issuance mein help krni thi jisse sb states mein ek jaisa hota sb.
Per haddi atka di upsc aur candidates k gale mein.
@AzadHindFauzIt seems verdict is going to be in Candidates' favour.
@Blazeaur sahi b hai yehi.
This case will open the eyes of upsc.
@Scorpion888Yes. Plus the general elections 2019 took up few months. Departments in the states had no clarity on how the assessment would be done, what documents are to be considered etc. Everyone was busy with elections. This is one of the points raised by the petitioners.
@BlazeCan't say with conviction. But, I'd give 60:40 in favour of candidates. Too many intricacies have been brought up for consideration. It could swing either way.
@mannemvasukinandan701Even I wish the same. But, from my experience, the pronouncement happens in the presence of parties concerned. They must be issued written notices to be present on the designated date. This is to ensure that the facts and the arguments being quoted by the judge pronouncing the order is correct to the knowledge of both parties. At least, this is how it is done in the High Courts. I think CAT would be following the same convention.
@mannemvasukinandan701
Still the drama continues
@Scorpion888objectivity in policymaking/decision-making, consensus building, sab soch samajh k hi padhaya jata hai, jab 2 din me political points score krne ko aap Bill pass karoge toh people will suffer
@AzadHindFauz
case koi bhi jeete...dono ko good luck...yar result de de bas.
@AzadHindFauzI think date on which Person applied to get that certificate should be concerned. Becoz there too many factors like Bribe or Political Influence,etc which affects who gets Certificate instantly and who has to wait a bit
