Whether it's bhogi in southern part of this country or lohri in Delhi..the bonfire..the festive cheers..just spread so much happiness. While a part of me is cursing for my fate of staying far from home during our biggest festival in anticipation of this God forsaken results?. It did give me a beautiful opportunity to enjoy the lohri bonfires with peppy Punjabi DJ.

Surprisingly even I'm from Shimoga and it's celebrated there too. Frankly speaking, I only knew that the name was associated with Sankranti festival n was celebrated the day before it. Got to know the fest ritual/practice from mom now?
