Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
I agree with you this strategy is foolproof for history. can also make fact intensive micro notes which are very helpful in case random questions are asked.@duster2019
@duster2019plus solve all the previous year questions from 2013 onwards !
@duster2019
I agree 100%
@TeddyWestsideYes I did that last year. I bought self study history for that. It will also help in revising the stuff plus enriches your content.

Pick up a novel haha@Raja123
what do you suggest
@Raja123Around 750 if the chckng standard is same as last yr
@Shubzmeans....atleast 800 hone chahiye....list me aane ke liye
@Shubz
Checking standard in 2018 I think was similar to 2017.
Dip in cut off was due to difficult essay topic and difficult gs1.
@dr-ahmednaaz8567
I mean Cheking standard is more or less uniform in different years.
@dr-ahmednaaz8567i agree with u. I wrote 2016,2017 mains and felt gs4 marking tougher in latter year but remaining were similar. Have no idea on 2018 marking. i guess good answers addressing all parts of qn will fetch easily 5/10 and 9/15 any time. Rest depends on scheme employed in that particular year.
@dr-ahmednaaz8567Hmmm...paper 3 was also rationalised last year. I remember in 2017 highest marks in paper 3 went upto 159 (if I remember correctly) secured by ravi anand.
@dr-ahmednaaz8567In 2017 ppl got very high marks in gs3....140,150 and even 160 and gs1 was also not targeted as was done in 2018
@Shubzyes, i guess gs3 compensated for reduction in gs4 marks that year
@Yes_I_am_in780 ke upar hi i think
@Shubzlast time also it was written 2 times
