Mains 2021 - Strategy, Doubts, Resources etc

Hi peeps! 

Prelims result will be declared in 2-3 weeks. We may make it, we might not. Speculations will continue till then.

This thread is for those who want to move on. For those deciding to focus on the next phase of their prep; perhaps the most crucial one. We have less number of days this time (only about 85 days left). Let's collaborate and make the most of this time.

You can also refer to Abhijeet sinha's onenote. GS4 is a gem from his notebook.

@aa12 if you’ll be listening to the classes then it would be beneficial. Just the material and feedback in itself wouldn’t be sufficient imo. The classes provide good value additions and the feedback is also good. If you have the bandwidth to allocate for more essay writing then go for it.

My case studies aren't strong so I'm not the best person to guide you. I relied on Anudeep Durishetty's articles + book for the basic structure and formatting. However I feel I need to improve on that. 

If you're just starting out, please do check some standard Ethics notes from any well known teacher/institute. Look into topper's copies. And once you understand the basics, practice more and more (either from test series or PYQs).

can someone explain Ecowrap report of SBI that claimed informal sector has contracted to 20% ? it left me in great confusion when i read an article about it.  The report talks about size of informal sector in India's GDP which is 20% of Formal sector now according to same report. How does it correlate with formalisation. Doesnt it show that informal sector which employs 80% of population is in doldrums and struggling , and doesnt it higlight the extreme level of inequality if 80% people are working in a sector that's producing only 20% of GDP? Should it be a matter of jubilation or serious concern ?
