I think fourth and fifth day would be common for cse and irms.

Then it will be final nail in the coffin for them if what you’re saying about matching timelines is correct

reason:

- cse ke 400 paper deke himmat chaiye aur paper dene ke

- mental pressure of 2 exam mains. Exam deke aana aur fod ke aane me antar h

If they have eaten into our vacancies, then it has come at twice the price for them. one, railway vacancies overall tally of 5 ese services is reduced and two, the points we’re discussing about pre and mains and it’s issues

Its an immediate loss for us.

Seats will most probably be reduced to 861

If only 2153 people are called for interview then it means that seats are just 861

Final cutoff ka 10 marks buffer is gone.

@Kenshein If they had to call over 2500 students(based on 1011seats) they wouldnt have put the results on hold.They would have anyways declared result irrespective of IRMS decision.

Being a civil engg,there is long term gain but immediately is attempt me to loss hai.

River is changing😅

Do not want to step twice into the same River of underprepared interview.

If process of IRMS was being finalized upon and no urgency was there to recruit through cse 2022 , they would have waited till now and issued the detailed scheme for the next years cycle as it has been done now .

But the additional 150 IRMS vacancy was added later , so it was kind of pre decided that this year it shd be thru cse and 23 onwards can be detailed later like now

So i think this 150 number is same , but it is of next years vacancy thru the scheme they mentioned today.

Also the pib notification of today shd have specifically mentioned that this 150 is this year's vacancy only which is now rolled over to next year but it doesn't..

So before any more clarification it is wrong to assume this years vacancy is reduced .

Mains result delay mighe be due to other issues or upsc just wanted to stay safe to have this out 1st and then publish results
