@necromancer personal experience, ever since I started taking sufficient protein and working out, been less lethargic and more energetic. Productivity gone up considerably

Is not being able to attempt 1-2 questions because you have absolutely no idea of what it is, a phenomenon specific to geography optional or is it the same across the board?

Mathematics giving you a high five. Though inability in attempting only 1-2 questions looks like a lucky day for an average maths aspirant :P

@Murali sufficient protein like?

@DM daily recommended intake is 0.8g/ kg. Some say it should be increased to 1g/kg. By various surveys Indians consume less than 0.2g/kg protein

how are coaching institutes coming up with analysis of mains papers immediately after the exam?? the competition in this industry must be brutal

And the competition is only increasing. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

P.s. Just a flyer that someone handed me over outside the exam gate. Not advertising.

@DM no bhai. I actually consume about 1.6g/kg. Even if you’re not an active individual 0.8g/kg is recommended for holistic devolopment

@DM if you’reinterested to know more about this let me know , I’ll share the required documents on this.

Haha. Prelims ke experience ke baad I am not even gonna get into this evaluation.

I did not leave any question, and I am just gonna make peace with that.

How are you planning the next few weeks? Trip or gym? :P

Does consuming chickpeas/chana/matar etc as a salad (just boiled and taken with a few other vegetables or fruits in a big bowl) as meals cover for some part of the protein requirement?
Or is it necessary to take supplements?
I have heard some people say that it messes up with the oil glands and lead to breakouts. Is there some truth to that?

@Murali yeah certainly not but for a sedentary lifestyle it’s okayish enough. As far as my experience goes, without whey supplements it’s very difficult for a vegetarian to get their daily fill of protein to gain muscle mass.

Yeh try karna bhai kabhi possible ho toh. This gives 10g protein per serving of 32g.

Issey tasty peanut butter aaj tak nahi khaya kabhi. Muscle blaze ka bhi aata hai ek it gives 22-23g/ serving of 32g but taste utna sahi nahi.

I am no sociologist but noticed a pattern about guys obsessing over proteins, as ladies obsessing over fats. Guess at a societal level generalisations do work. #JustSaying

@Shailputri not to sound misogynistic, but men Always prefer to be bit muscular , hence the protein. Women prefer to look more curvy , hence fat. Guess there is genera idea of what “looking good” for each gender is the reason
