I need some help in PSIR. Feels as if I have not yet learnt writing language of the subject. And was adequately punished in marks assigned.
Also Is some strict checking being pursued in PSIR ? Found one analysis in which average marks was in mid 260s
The more number of times you revise the better your hold of the subject will be. Also try and identify the keyword from your notes and revise those multiple times

I'm preparing for the 2023 attempt and I'm super confused which test series to opt for, SR or GS score?
- I've done my graduation and masters in political science and IR so subject understanding is not a big issue here, its more about answer-writing practice which is exam-oriented
-Need timely evaluation for submitted tests. I am planning to cover up my optional atleast once by December because I'm really concerned about prelims, already having flunked earlier
-SR has two writing modules, there's a crash course (a 3 month thing) and an answer writing test series (year round), but they give postal notes with the latter which I do NOT want. Any suggestions on how I could go about this?
-GS Score seems lax on the timely evaluation front, although the faculty themselves check the paper it seems?
Going for both test series would be an overkill so I have to stick it out with any one
Would be grateful if you could help out, and please pin anyone else who you think could provide some suggestions, thanks a lot!
Sorry I realized after replying that you directed your question to Ann2510. Still leaving it here just in case it helps.
@LuckyKat my doubt is....whether it can impact my scores more than that due to scaling factor
That would depend on your total score, but the answer is a definite yes. I am no expert but this is how someone explained working of Bell curves to me. I may be wrong but unless your total is at median, scaling would impact you.
@LuckyKat do u have any idea of scaling factor for original score for PSIR...like whether more than 1 or less
No I do not, sorry!
