I have a doubt....in optional...I have choosed to write qsn  3 but mistakenly wrote 2 words in 2 a...and I strike it off...and started writing under 3a....can that be  a cause of concern?

@mounikamouni24_h944 It's my first attempt too. And really  don't worry at this point regarding that. What's done is done.

And other answers too matter. So if they are good, one question is hardly going to matter. So hope for the best, and meanwhile, prep for the worst.

May the force be with you.

If you have struck off, no cause of concern.

Can someone please share some good content on two topics-1) the Russia-Ukraine conflict; and 2) the Srilanka crisis? Any notes shared by Shubhra Mam in this year's crash course or any other notes will work. I have my state PCS exam in which these questions are expected. I will be really grateful. Thank you.

Yes,you surely can. In fact, behind every Platonian thought, his ultimate objective was  to build an ideal society, which was a hierarchical society based on division of labour. Popper's criticism in that regard is wholesome since being an avowed liberal, he was critiquing the basic foundations of every thought of Plato.

Like see, on education- Why theory of education? Answer- to achieve what Plato describes as 'Justice'

Why Justice in social setup? To build an ideal society.

Berlin ka I don't know if he specifically commented on Plato or not, but his idea of Value Pluralism can be a good parameter to compare Plato's ideas on value of justice with Berlin's thoughts.

Visit IDSA and ORF regularly to understand Indian perspective on Global Politics.

Visit Foreign Affairs, Economist to track global issues.

These 4 websites will help you crack IR in 3 months tops!

If you want to analyse these issues from purely academic perspective, visit E- international Relations page. This source will put the "IR lens" (use of theories to explain current issues) on the items you'll be reading from above sources.

You'd not be a weak student of IR after 3 months.

Good luck.

@LuckyKattI'm in my initial reading of the subject and very confused after reading SR notes. Lack of structure and flow with offtopic scribbles along the margins. Any other way of going about this subject? I'm an enginnering student and more often than not tend to delve too much into a topic I'm reading and not understanding. I just want to be able to complete the subject once with a good basic understanding.

You can refer Unique academy printed notes. I think they are far far better source to ace the optional and will also help you differentiate content. Go for it only if it works for you
