@quasiwin For the question regarding Schedules Areas,
Check this out
https://www.latestlaws.com/bare-acts/state-acts-rules/rajasthan-state-laws/scheduled-areas-state-of-rajasthan-order-2018 One of the entries says Peepla village in Rajasthan implying a village can be declared as a Scheduled area.

@Najdorf depends on where you look.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3096006/

Says no safe level of mercury.

Also the article implies that above 20 micrograms is definitely dangerous but not that below it is safe.

@Srinjay Yes , even I marked A considering this. In any case the question ought to be deleted or correct answer has to be A. Please give representation quoting source.

@Immortalknight Yes , please give representation. unless we show that with some form of evidence UPSC will go ahead with its own key, which we sadly dont even know.

@Najdorf yes . They are asking for which ACCELROMETER is REQUIRED and 3rd option REQUIRES direction related meter not accelerometer. Wether its used or not is secondary , the key question is wether its REQUIRED or not and common sense says for rotation its not as opposed to clearly required in above two cases.

For this one. I marked it considering Village or gram sabha...UPSC should have clearly mentioned village or cluster of villages but they didnt, leading to this confusion.

For scheduled areas question, since there is a news article having the same statements word by word, the answer is bound to be two only. Our research doesn't matter. I've marked one only as well so counting -2.6 for that one.

Which ans key seems more accurate for gs?

@quasiwin can you please provide news article link ?
Also that shoudnt stop us from challenging question- representation , for upsc havent clearly framed the statement leading to multiple legitimate interpretations

@The Force None seems accurate when it comes to few controversial questions. Better would be to check from 3-4 keys like shankar , katpaan, vision etc and identify where you stand.

@seesat 22(5) and 22(6) provide for making a representation against the order.
