Civil Services Mains 2020 Results: In or Out ? Way ahead, gratitude and Pain
The Civils Mains result has been declared. This thread is for sharing your grief , joy , mixed feelings - absolutely anything and everything.
I am a working professional and this will be my fifth attempt. I cleared Prelims for the first time in my fourth attempt but could not find my name in the Mains result.
These times are difficult as they are, adding the agony of Prelims postponement dilemma is a torture. There is an extreme pressure from family to focus on the career at hand instead of dwelling on the unpredictability of UPSC, more so because of the negative environment we are living in right now.
UPSC must clarify at the earliest whether there will be a new date or not.
i know it's an education platform and not the right place to discuss politics. yet i'll take the risk to say just one thing- ab toh jaag jao blind worshipers. i am not asking you to turn liberal or left wing, that would be absurd coz there can never be just one set of ideas that everyone subscribes to. i am just asking you to be a responsible right winger who put well-being and welfare of countrymen above leader worship. you have to accept that you have given too much leeway to the current PM. All his decisions have been epic disasters be it demonetisation, or sudden lockdown at short notice, or his casual attitude towards corona and premature triumphalism yet he continues to evade accountability. This consciousness that he can do anything and yet count on his votebank to keep him in power is the root cause of many of the avoidable tragedies that have befallen our country.
I am not asking you to vote this way or that, only that keep these politicians under your shoes. Dont make them DEMIGODS!
Can anyone in this community guide about improving the essay marks??
Should I join test series for mains from now on for main 2021 or after prelims??
Is there any flexible essay test series with good personal guidance and affordable??
Can anyone share their personal experience who has improved the marks in later attempts??
