Indeed. I have almost given up on this corporatised version of Indian cricket filled with Tiktokiya cricketers. Neeraj Chopra, Bajrang Punia, PV Sindhu >Any present day Indian cricketer!

Har ICC tournament ke bad mai ditto yehi sochta hu with background music running in my head

" bhula denge tumko Sanam dheere dheere, muhabbat ke sare sitam dheere dheere..."

But fir ek do month bad next ICC event ki schedule aajati hai.

Abhi jeetenge na ICC test championship next year !!! :p

Dono ka function alag h. We can’t truly compare them. Coaching cater to a completely different ecosystem and study routine. They are not aimed at inculcating critical thinking or analytical skills necessarily, they’re aimed at helping you clear an exam. At any point if you do evolve analytical or critical thinking skills, those are incidental. Whereas colleges are focused on analysis and critical thinking in depth on a particular subject. They require reflection at length in only a specific area of study.

Havingsaid that, I do agree that we shouldn’t glorify anyone, be it school/university teachers or coaching teachers. Both sets of people are only humans with a particular agenda to fulfil.

बेहद अपमानजनक प्रतिक्रिया।

@D503 इस फ़ासीवादी का साथ देकर तुम पूजनीय स्टालिन भाई के दिखाए हुए मार्ग से बटके हुए मालूम पड़ते हो।

Baaki, Vivek Sir and Saurabh sir are good. I don't know how nicely will they evaluate, but Saurabh Sir knows a bit as to how to clear this exam. Also, a very hardworking lad as far as I know.

the only stalin i trust :p

Good choice! Most popular leader of Tamil Nadu since Sangam era!

I have a question: How do those of us from Non-Science backgrounds go about doing factual Science questions. In particular, Biology questions like Diatoms, Foraminifera, Millepedes, Copepods.

In most case, I don't have any effing clue about those organisms.

@morsmodre I have graduated in Zoology Hons. Par aata mujhe bhi nahi kucch. Try reading 9th yaa 11th ki Biology portion of NCERT.It has everything. It may not land direct Prelims Q's,but the content surely helps in elimination.

@LetsGetThisBread Tumhari batein mere upar se jaa rahi.

@D503 Ldaai jagda chalta rehna chahiye. On a serious note, I see Ramayana as a decentralised historical text with multiple interpretations. The major point of contention is whether Uttara Kandh is a part of Ramayana or not since it has certain references where Bhagwan Ram comes across as an anomaly to his prior description. And, if I can recall correctly, even Ami Ganatra(new translator in the game) in a recent podcast cited this reference of Ghee and Dog!

Baaki,Vikas sir's reaction every alternating week-

Mujhe-kyun-toda-meme-template- Pop Culture, Entertainment ...

*I haven't read Rishi Valmiki, but have read Tulsidas and B.Debroy(B.Gita)

The ghee and dog reference is common one occuring even in Vedas. Dogs pollute the oblation because they lick it before eating it and so it is advised to keep the dog away while performing ritual sacrifices. I read this in a book on mythology or some blog. Even Mahabharat begins with the story of a dog who was beaten by brothers of king janamjeya even though the dog hadn't looked let alone lick the oblation. So the dog goes to his mother Sarna who curses Janamjaya as a result of which his father Parikshit dies of a snakebite. So ya dog and ghee is a common trope.

i have partially read valmiki's english translation, rst has been pending for a year now.

Mudda is whether the specific event happened or not & which is contentious for few & neglected by majority or at least they get offended. I think the suppression of female could have been explained with suitable & non-disrespectful manner but the winks & smirks are self explanatory in my opinion.

Peace! Nothing personal.

Heard Vikas divyakirti ki Baja dali logo ne 😆 this has reaffirmed my belief that most of these twitter pretenders have not even read Valmiki's Ramayana ,let alone Mahabharata, and their entire notion of Ramayana is based on a TV serial.

I hope this isn't controversial.

Yes, the masses  work on their biases and their stereotypes, whose  repercussions are faced by intellectuals like Divyakarthi Sir. It's  frightening for me to witness all of this. I wish people would read and introspect more.  Did you see the Lalantap video where Sir was given a platform to clear all the misunderstanding? The host was very polite, asked relevant questions and actually listened to Sir when our Sir was giving proof for the points he mentioned in the  controversial video. The host is entirely opposite to our  rozke news channel anchors. Also the quickness shown by Lalantap in uploading their video is commendable.Within a day or so, they addressed the issue and uploaded the video in order to rectify the damages done to our Sir.  One more thing that I found interesting in that video was the compassion showed by the host towards Sir's family and mental health.

Having such an effective alternative medium is a sign of hope for me and I wish  that similar platform, quick response and treatment will be provided to marginal sections (women, sc/sts and religious minority) of our society if some similar incident happens to them. I mean similar controversy happened with a vision lady prof earlier this year right ? Vocal Dalits and Tribals have been silenced as well and so is the case with religious minority. I expect next time Lalantap will  provide similar platform to vulnerable sections of our society and not just be limited to  a Brahmin-man.

Boy I had to tone down my anger and words to type this out. I had to change my tone to make it look like it's constructive criticism. Yeh tone policing is somewhat difficult for me, Challo I'm still learning

Just a piece of my mind, I feel is that Prelims these days is more about temperament in exam hall. By temperament I mean your ability to maintain your composure when faced with unknown questions and I believe whatever best your level of preparation is, in the best case scenario you would be confident in maximum 40 questions. In rest of the questions you have to apply logic, reasoning, intuition, gut feeling and leap of faith to attempt. So, practicing tests especially without preparing too much can be very helpful as:

1. You learn not to expect questions from what you have studied (the biggest reason of stress as exam time approaches and one tends to recollect everything as if going for viva).

2. You can do reverse engineering as you can identify specific areas in static portions to focus more in second reading.

3. You will commit mistakes and there is a better chance that the mistake is etched in your memory for not to be repeated again (I have seen many students committing the error of correct vs incorrect statements).

4. You will learn how questions are framed from a particular topic and you will be able to orient your studies accordingly.

5. It is actually refreshing and motivating way of studies if you don't take too much stress about marks.

:)
