Does buddhism believe in transmigration of soul?

kindly answer,i have been encountered with 2 contrasting statements in vision pt test

just to add to the discussion , Buddhism did not get involved into the question of soul

moreover they focused on liberation from the rebirth cycle .

@RAGNAROKtax buoyancy = dy/dx . x/y When you only take difference you are neglecting the x/y factor

This is what I understand

@Biryani Buddhism does not believe in the concept of soul. However, as per Buddhism, due to trishna, an individual is trapped in the Karmic cycle of Birth and Rebirth. However, it is not the soul which transmigrates, rather it is the individual's endless desires fuelled by Trishna which ultimately translates into his desire for taking rebirth, which ultimately manifests itself in reality.

@Shailputri Gram is chana and when you wash it and breaks it ( into two) it becomes chana dal ( as we do it at home)

bro there is a debate here many a times as botany as subject i see chick pea = chana ( brown and only chickpea for kala chna and safed respectively ) and gram means moong but when generally we use gram for chna also XDD

Can someone please tell me where can I find topics like Sautantrika, Sammitiya, Sarvastivadin (buddhist sects ) and Sthanakvasi etc sects of Jainism?

I can not find them in any NCERT and not even in Nitin Singhania. Yet, I find it asked in almost every test series.

This is giving me a different sort of anxiety now..

zbnf means farming without chemicals (natural) and without taking any credit or spending any money on inputs. zbnf is basically intended to end debt cycle. In organic farming, farming is done without chemicals but farmer may take credit and spend money on inputs.

Why are collegium recommendations sent to law ministry for clearance? Shouldn't they be sent to president who should act accordingly as he has no discretion and is bound by decision of collegium? Is it because of memorandum of procedure?

They can send the recommendations back for reconsideration and if the Collegium still sticks to the recommendation then it is binding.
