@Caesar Yes got it. A further clarification....laxmi writes president appoints chiefs of army, navy, air force. But they are appointed by ACC (Google and other orders). Similarly CDS is appointed by ACC. So what is correct here?

Then ACC it should be!

Levels of UV-B radiation caused by ozone depletion are higher in the tropics than at polar latitudes.

Can someone please explain this statement?

Levels of UV-B radiation caused by ozone depletion are higher in the tropics than at polar latitudes.

Can someone please explain this statement?

Higher in tropics because

1. cloud cover - more scattered in tropics, Each water droplet in a cloud scatters some incoming UV radiation back into space

2. Even though ozone depletion is higher, lower latitudes receive more sunlight and at less oblique angles.

3. Fresh snow can reflect much as 94 percent of the incoming UV radiation, which is not the case at tropics.

Any tips regarding how to score well in mocks. I Know upsc paper is different from mocks but scoring less in mocks shatters your confidence. Plus seeing people scoring 110-120 makes you question your preparation whether you are doing it right or not.

@Imomf refer GS Score PDF for Agriculture , it should solve your query.

@Jurgen_klopp Just prepare for any given mocks according to Syllabus , you should have done multiple revisions so that you complete your paper on time instead of wasting your time recalling stuffs. Structure your answer according to keywords + try to cover every aspect of Q's.

FIIs have been permitted to invest in unlisted securities.

But the FPI regulations say that FPIs are allowed to invest only in listed or to-be-listed entities.

Isn't this contradiction ?
