@sathooriaravind I haven't also got a concrete answer as to how weight of lid matters.....however, i was sure that temp of flame does not matter and that eliminated the weight of lid option......
@vijayvec08615749 74 is very safe this year, last year it was 73 I think, this year's paper was tougher, also many are claiming even CSAT was tougher! I won't be surprised if SC cut off goes below 70, General would be just below 90 IMHO, somewhere like 88-89!
nerdfighter,sjerngal@king_Attila What do you attribute this to? Silly mistakes or you couldn't genuinely do them? A lot of people I know are saying the same they are having a marks difference of 15-20 vis-a-vis last year. At this rate, I won't be surprised with the cut-off going below 85! My humble assessment after talking to a lot of people is you are safe! I am dead sure cut-off is going below 90!

@Tempo_High_Hain thanks for reply,ignored prelims as I failed in mains last year,friends disturbance,sleep deprivation,I double marked one question mistakenly,was like absent minded during a large part of exam.But still I could at best have touched 100,still 15 marks lower.

16 subject experts to decode 100 questions and then people ask why you feel paper was difficult ?

Very much thank you sir... Since the day of prelims, im unable to do anything, wrote mains last time but fell 22 marks short, dont know what happens, waiting for this 20 odd days with borderline score is real torture

I can bet that UPSC only frame questions not answers. Answers are taken from this platform by UPSC as all of us are providing every detail of each answer. UPSC wale definitely will take these answers in its official key. Please keep surgering all the questions till final conclusion before d day. 😂😂😂😂
