[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

govt ll never take 300 ips and 400 ias at a time..   nyone asking fr merger is being naive . Yes there is no enough capacity to train them at a time and if they do it ll create a situation whn someone gets selected ll have to wait for another year to get training .

Wht i expect is if SC gets involved or things get too much politicized  this yr recruitment ll be cancelled ...   And vacancies of this year ll be filled in a course of 4 yrs in a gradual manner ... not at all a good scenario for 4th 5th attempt people

i personally feel that upsc is very big and true to its name it is UnPredictable Service Commission.

Key word is "social distancing " . Isi ke naam pe parliament chalegi aur isi ke naam pe sari exams b hogi.

Ravish ne b bol dia padh lo salon exam time pe hi hogi.

People in favoring postponement, some are asking for merger. Even media is covering that part! So many ofbus will pay price for this naive act 

Attention- this is not a prediction or opinion on whether prelims should be postponed/merged/lucky draw etc

My 16 Annas- merger will increase competition because there's no way seats are going to be doubled. However I think people are exaggerating the competition. It's not like the number of aspirants will double.

1.Only 800 aspirants(out of 8 lakh ) are selected in a year, and I'm damn sure almost 200-300 of these reappear for next year's exam.

2.The number of new aspirants (first timers) in 2021 will also be low because coaching institutes are presently not functioning. Even the ones offering online courses are functioning at less than 1/4th strength. The date of prelims is directly tied to opening of coaching institutes I feel[no allegations of crony capitalism,(or is there, wink wink)]

3. The shortfall in new entrants will be compensated to an extent by the ones who's attempts otherwise would have expired in 2020.

Is there any extra/additional aspirant group that I have not accounted for here?

So roughly speaking, the number of aspirants will increase only marginally, if it does. This can be handled with a marginal increase in number of vacancies (let's say 1100 instead of the usual 800). This again won't put an extraordinary burden on training institutes,since they were handling such numbers a few years ago if I'm not wrong.

UPSC board is not just a constitutional body, they're descendants of God(s) who have the power to determine the fate of us mortals. Unka mann(assessment) krega to ek taang pe khade hokr prelims dena padega,So sab bhagwan/allah/chaos/Nehru pe chhod do. 

Let me share a breaking news:- Some are going to the extent of calling to scrap the 2020cycle itself and proceed with 2021 . this is not even naive.. this is something more

Corona ke vajah se exam postpone karane ki baat ho rahi thi kal tak to, ab ye UPSC ko suggestions dene wale kahan se paida ho gae? 

Jinhone UPSC ka pura syllabus bhi nahi padha abhi tak lag raha hai wo log suggest kar rhe ki ye year hi khatm kar do, taki unko excuse mil jae ki padhe to hum bhot the but exam hi nahi hua.🙄

Corona ke dar se postpone karana hota to decision UPSC ke hath me chhodna tha ye bol ke ki vaccine aane do market me.. fir mains and interview bhi pre ke sath le lena.😆😆

Its funny how ppl r coming up with solutions like merger and giving self declared date for conducting prelims and mains. 

Are bhai UPSC wale dholpur office me baith kar pav bhaji thodi bana rahe hai. They know how to do their job.
