[Results] Prelims 2020 Over - Gearing for 2021

Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.

@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?

This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.

@AzadHindFauz maybe I am reading too much into it, but UPSC statement says marksheet will be published only after the final outcome of all the pending case's' - plural..you sure this is the only case, or are there some others pending??

Thanks for clearing that up. Hopefully the result comes today itself. Not getting to know the marks has been a minor irritant..but it is still a distraction

There seems to be a mistake in Economy PT 365. On page 52, it says that a/c to Soil Health Card scheme, farmers are eligible for a Soil Health card once every 2 years but I checked on india.gov.in , there it says 3 years.

Any other mistakes someone has encountered?

@AureliusM There was a PIB which said "once every 2 years". This was released in Feb 2020, so I would count it to be more recent than the website.

Initially it was for 3 years. Now they have reduced it to 2 years. This is what I have read.

Off topic... But can anyone help? (For CSE 2020)

I am an OBC candidate and I have my state OBC certificate. However, now I have come to know that OBC certificate from Centre has  to be before the date of application. Will My OBC  application be considered valid if I get my Obc certificate made now? How accomodating are the people for DV?

I read they were to be taken in from next year. The news was from around Oct 2019 which is the time when 2020 report was released.

@AureliusM Under FPI limits they said "under current norms short term investment by an FPI should not exceed 20 per cent of that FPI". But, that has been increased to 30 per cent in January. Did anyone find simulator test 8?? Too tough??

So my allotted centre falls in an area notified as a containment zone. I live in an apartment building where a noisy neighhborhood is rasing voice on anyone going for these tests. They are mandating 14 day isolation post giving the exam. Someone got covid +ve post the recent jee and they want to draw a linkage from this episode. I guess going in a notified zone will be the case with (hopefully as few as possible) some others too. Also, as per lockdown guidelines, holding exams in such areas is impermissible. Could such centres be changed now on request or everybody is supposed to stay rational, silent, pragmatic and just risk it?

Material- PT 365 Economics

Page number- 16

Topic- 2.4 Differentiated banking

Error:- Minimum capital of SFB is now ₹200 crore and not ₹100 crore.

P.s. humble request to share such rectifications if and when found as majority of us are covering PT365 for CA.
