Mains 2019 Preparation and Discussion Thread
Now that 1 week is over, it is time to shift focus to Mains. With barely 103 days left there is no time to waste.
5th point yeh ho sakta hai ki
*India shares really good relations with both Iran & Saudi Arabia, Israel & Palestine, Russia & the US. Whereas, the US foreign Policy is Anti-Iran, Anti-Palestine & Anti-Russia. That's why the US is confused about India.
Took me 1 hour to think of this point.
I wish yeh tab soch leta main toh kitna acha hota.

Essay: Topics were more understandable than last year but doesn't mean that everyone wrote excellent.
GS1 was easy this time except one or two questions. People are gonna rock this i am sure.
GS2 difficult language but paper wasn't that difficult.
However, CAT, Harmonious construction, Service sector mein i have fucked up.
GS3 No bouncers Except Cyberdome & Watershed wala.
However i have fucked up in Vulnerability, Visvesaraya, TKDL, UAPA.
GS4 was slightly different but not that difficult. (However i have fucked up in this as well)
Baaki Optional ka bhagwaan jaane.

@STMy geography part was not that good, history and society part was good, and marking is what makes difference, i found geography questions tough, food processing was not that specific as question demanded specific,
ocean current no time for map and diagram.

@RavsNot really a fan of coaching institutes and their ways but UAPA was covered pretty thoroughly in updated mains 365. Credit where due.
@paranthapijjanot just that. It was very much in news in August with newspapers covering it extensively.
@RavsOverall Paper was not easy for me.. I got stuck in Society questions. Geography mein I couldn't recall points.. Reason might be that I took GS-1 for granted.

@sat_009On similar lines for me too.. I took GS-1 for granted leaving last 2 weeks for it.. Just finished the paper somehow !
Lets c how it turns out.. Hope get decent enough marks in Essay to compensate for fiasco in GS-1.
