Bhai.. iss baar Socio mein Paper-2 ke baare mein ye nhi keh sakte.. but haan Paper-1 expected lines pe tha.. Baaki optional ka pata nhi..

After giving exam, I was thinking that i would get good marks. But after reading comments here, Lag raha ki Shayad Bakchodi kar ke aa gae hain .....

@STI differ from you about test series and PYQ.
I am also from socio.Did not do any test series neither previous year questions(neither for socio nor for GS).
Read 476 IGNOU chapters(both ba and ma),read blue haralambous book(fat one complete),read anthony giddens(fat one green-selected),nitin sangwan book(complete),tusharanu sharma notes(complete),bk nagala(selected),ar desai book(complete),yogendra singh(complete),social movements in india ghanshyam shah(complete),xaxa report(complete) and recent newspaper examples.Those books where complete is written were read line by line.Made handwritten notes from all of them worth 1507 pages and mugged them up and revised total 7 times.
Yeh sab karne ke baad na to test series ka time bacha tha na previous year questions ka.
Regarding paper i finished both of them with lots of thinkers and current examples.Yes paper 2 was unconventional but not difficult.
Baaki ho sakta hai I might be wrong and get very less marks or might be right and get one of the highest marks in India.
Bhagwan accha hi karega.

@STFollowed the strategy of tusharanu sharma,nitin sangwan and manish kumar who focused more on building the content and less on test series.
I still believe test series are a marketing gimmick(yes I have done mba in marketing and know inside out of coaching marketing fundas-my project was on how byju with a 97 percentile in cat was able to build a billion dollar empire thru marketing).

PYQs are really important man.

Ocean currents, TKDL and a few other questions were asked in PYQs.

50-60 marks ka toh har saal aata hai GS mein PYQs se.

Same is with optional.

Correct, I even did it before exams, sad part, did it for GS2
On a serious note, PYQs esp for static part is much better than tests, realised when I thoroughly went through them after exams(including gs2)
