For all mains appeared candidates 350s was average,
for interview call 380s was average in gs,
for name on the list 390-400 was safe,

essay was dealmaker or breaker last year,
if not too good, too low must have been avoided

Optional -
for unreserved category - 250 was average for all mains appeared,.for interview call atleast 260 270 were needed,
for safe(rank) 290 300 was a good score

Kash tum bhi trollers ki list se bahar aakar positive discussion karte to mai bhi kuchh apne critical but constructive view rakhta jisse new aspirants ko fayda milta.

Tum jaise logo ki vajah se hi forum me koi sach nahi bol pata kyoki jo bhi sach bolega o troll hone lagega.

Prelims ke result ke time me bhi tumne mujhe bahut troll kiya tha aur mains ke bad tum mujhe indirectly point kar rahe ho.
Mujhe troll hone se fark nahi padta.
Real loss is for new aspirants who don't learn anything from this platform and a big loss to FORUM IAS QUEST.

maine paper 1 me 40 aur paper 2 me 35 marks nhi likha hai baki average hi likhahai few diagrams only

found it a bit different as compared to previous year ques
first attempt dont really kno wat to expect

@TETRACYCLINEMaine paper 1 m 15 marks are absolutely galat Kiya hai. Attempt sb hi kiye hai with minimal digrams ar wo b bs pen s no coloured pencil used. Optional 2 m 30 marks ka galat hai Jise irrelevant keh skte hai. And others are average.

dont have any idea but jo v interviews suna hai qualified logo ka unse to yhi lgtahai ki paper 1 me agar correct likhahai to achi marking hoti hai i mean 60 to 70 percent dete hai and paper 2 me they give good marks if management and approach is written nicely

being a science subject obviously if one has written correct ans to 70 percent to dete hi honge but unlike arts no marks for irelevant stuff

I used to think the same till I was fighting for accomodation in my colony, which was granted based on seniority. I got the Type - IV flat and 2 of my own batchates had to rent accomodation outside at higher rates. Of course it does not make any substantial difference.

But when promoted to the rank of commissioner, this inter se seniority means a lot since those promotions are not batch wise. SOme might end up becoming junior to their batchmates. But 18 saal baad ka kaun soche?

@TETRACYCLINEthis time paper 2 was different. Moreover I had problem dealing with compulsory ques like HBNC of which I was having vague idea only.
