Wrong comparison brother.. Its not the post which gives so called Power but the charge u have.. no one is DM/DC/SDM, its the charge u get by virtue of u being at certain rank in hierarchy.. An IRS could be holding a charge which gives him more power than many IAS/IPS. Same goes with SDM.

PS: Others can add.

@VivekanandSbro... it depends on your priorities... ab mere priorities se Home state ka SDM is better than any service through UPSC except IAS and IPS....

but everyone has their own choice and priorities in life. I left software sector because I did not like job and travelling to office for 1-2 hours. But, many of my friends are doing the job with happiness and satisfaction. I am not happy in my present Engineering job in PSU but many are happily doing without any second thought.

Mujhe personally administration k job m jna hai... but many opt foreign service as first choice...

So, u have to figure out urselves by knowing the job nature and responsibilities...

As he mentioned, it's all about personal preference. I would opt for IRS over IPS for sure and this is a fairly common trend amongst many aspirants. While there are also aspirants who mark IPS above IAS.

@kochikaamePls dont start with mentalist. It's just one episode of story mixed with 22 of random rubbish. It would have been good if they had stuck to the central storyline. Plus the hero's face looks more and more punchable as the series progresses lol.

@Ananya123no one seems to have a clue, albeit most of them have settled on next week as being most likely.

@Rand_Al_ThorIf I may add, the episodes themselves are quite engaging, although as you rightly pointed out, the main storyline has only 2-3 relevant episodes per season.

@kochikaameKilling Eve (2 seasons), Chernobyl (mini series). Though Narcos type ni hainEk Money Heist karke Mexican show hai - its maybe similar (?) par ye do better hain.
