Because of the corona virus issue? If it does not happen then worst affected will be people whose interview is stuck, around 600-700 such people I think are yet to appear for their interview.
@neyawn sir and others, what is your take?
This is the official Thread for discussion of Prelims Postponement, Please do not create new threads for the same.
@Rakhmabai If There is no minimum no of days parliament should meet then answer can be ZERO DAYS also but thats not the case. Parliament must assemble atleast twice .
Meating at least twice in a year does not mean 2 days as such. You are just viewing 6 as 9 from your side.
Same goes for chemical fertilizers, there is only one fertilizer that is urea which is administered by government, rest others like nitrogen, pottasium, phosphorus and other micro nutrient fertilizers are retail market driven, you can go on Amazon and check there prices vary from retailer to retailer.
Yes i was in great dilemma only because of this, and went fir the wrong option as per the keys, meanwhile people who didn't know that marked the right answer as per keys, it seems the bliss provided by the ignorance is being rewarded by upsc in past few prelims,
@Equalizer actually trading by definition means buying and selling for profit, government do intervene through open market sale but that is to only drop the prices by boosting supply but they do not engage in buying, they only purchase through msp which was already there in option, thud to my understanding government trading should be eliminated.
Bt government trading perhaps they mean open market sale. Ab government dukaan khol ke to baithi nahi hai ke haan bhai chawal lelo, daal lelo. In any case government trading is wrong. Afterall all last year shankar had 7 wrong answer, vajiram 9, vision I think 5. So coaching giving wrong key to these questions not a big deal.

Question asked about factors for change in price of rice. So even if govt using omo to drop the price hence this is a factor which question asked.

Sorry to interrupt once agn......bt gov only facilitate the market demand and supply so that price wont fluctuate much......bt trading is out of context....
Upsc that is the reason always have some edge to make the diff answer key bcz these pseudo fanciful inst cant understand the upsc and its context
1.) Physical damage?? Where is that written in question
2.) Question doesn't mention whose computer... His own or someone else's

My dear friend I may or may not be correct regarding this question but I am 100% sure that ur this understanding is wrong. It is asking which policies were affecting price. If open market sells stabilizes price, it wont be same as affecting the price. These two are different things. If question is asked what are the factors affecting temperature of patients, it could be due to viral fever, malaria, typhoid, but it could not be due to taking paracetamol, although tablet is also affecting the temperature. At the end of the day it depends solely on UPSC call, however ur this logic is not valid.

+1 Constitutional provision is this much only that 6 months must not elapse between last sitting in one session and date appointed for first sitting in the next session. A natural inference of this provision is that the Parliament must meet at least twice a year. But it can not be equated with Parliament's mandatory meet for at least two days in a year because@Shramjeevi_express those two days as per you can be two consecutive days but that won't suffice as it will breach the constitutional provision. Let's understand with the help of an example:
Suppose Parliament met on 23rd Feb 2020 for the last time. Now until one year suppose it meets on two days only (being minimum as per you) say 22nd May 2020 and 23rd May 2020. Now tell me whether it is constitutionally valid if it doesn't meet ever between 23rd May 2020 and 23 Feb 2021, i.e., during the next 9 month! No, it won't be as it is must for the Parliament to assemble at least once in a 6-month period. Hope you have got it. And absence of minimum number of days in the constitution doesn't get translated to Parliament not meeting even once in a year being constitutionally valid (as said by you) because there is a separate provision whereby Parliament must meet at least once every 6 months!
PS: I am 2021 aspirant and originally I had interpreted it same way as you but later on self analyzed it to reach the correct proposition.

is giving subsidy to companies means govt is controlling or administering retail prices??
2 reason for that......
1.read its hindi translation
2.willfully implied that someone phsically harm it.....else the cyber attack wont need to insert the wilful nature.....the statement clearly said it so if damage by accident not cover only by wilful....so obviously that some1 broken it or punch it
Wilfully doesn't mean physically, it means deliberately.
Yup I have read Hindi translation as well. Both mean same... In hindi it is written "jaan-bhujh kar"

Then does cyber attack could be possible without the wilful nature as well......
