I m expecting good score in mains. I have practiced a lot of answer before the mains exam... I am strictly against any such delay tactics..
You don't get it. They (whoever called you DKT) weren't triggered by your claims regarding marks, but by the 'in your face' way of putting it. "Cyber begging"? "Delay tactics"??, and after that you talk about your hard work and performance! I'm no one to judge, but please don't be under the impression that you were name called due to your marks prediction (that too may be a reason, as you've said 100 for GS3, which going by this year's paper and last year's topper marks, looks a bit unrealistic. But who am I to judge? may be you're good in GS3. I don't know, I don't care and I didn't call you any names. using someone's name as an abuse/slang is something I don't agree with. If you get 100 in GS3, good for you 👍🏽).

There is something interesting and noteworthy..
I estimated my marks around 800..
I was called DKT PART 2.. Overconfident and what not..
Someone here expecting around 840.. but all praises to him.. and no labelling like DKT part 3 or something..
Anyways.. world works like this.. so no complaints..
You got hurt because people called you DKT because according to you, you worked hard. But at the same time you reduced your fellow aspirations sufferings or bad luck to lame excuses and delaying tactics. I know a guy who has given 3 interviews who got selected in UPPCS. Lost his mother. His father was hospitalized during the second wave. His last attempt was completely ruined. Now I am not saying he should get an attempt. That is for the courts or authorities to decide. But as a fellow human my heart goes out to him. As a fellow aspirant i would never call his or many more aspirants suffering lame. And if at all I do I will not cry foul when people attack me for being a terrible human being. Freedom of speech goes both ways. And here was mine.

In my opinion they give 5-5.5 marks for exceptional answers 4-4.5 for good answers 3 3.5 for average and 1 2 for bad answers out of 10 marks.
Based on my past mains,many of us specially in 1st mains mismanage time and end up somehow completing 7 8 questions in hurry.Even if we write some good answers,number of average answers r high. Moreover, sometimes we miss demand.All these factors contribute to low scores.

Nai nai upsc awards even 8/10 ;it's normalization that changes final scores, this is the reason why people leaving few questions also get good scores. Last year I left 25 marks in gs 1 ended up getting 90+, completed gs 3 and scored 75 ,bottom line hai ki content gives you better score however completing all questions with quality content is a tough task
