The union Public Service Commission has officially released the notification for 2024 for 1056 posts .
The application form starts from today i.e. 14th February , 2024 , and the last date for application is 5th March , 2024 .
Key Highlights of U.P.S.C CSE ( IAS ) 2024 notification :
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality : For IAS, IFS and IPS - Citizen of India. For other posts, a candidate must be either an Indian citizen, subject of Nepal, subject of Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. A certificate of eligibility must be issued by the Government of India.
- Age limits: Attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2024.
- Upper age limit relaxations: OBC - 3 years, SC/ST - 5 years, PWBD - 10 years
- Number of attempts: General – 6, OBC – 9, SC/ST – unlimited, PWBD – 9
- Education qualifications: A graduate degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.
Key Dates to Remember:
- Application form opening day :February 14, 2024.
- Last day of application submission :March 5, 2024, 6 PM.
- Modification in application form :March 6 – March 12, 2024.
- Preliminary examination: May 26, 2024

Respected sir/madam...
My name is Nagargoje Rahul Vitthal. Last year, I completed the UPSC One-Time Registration. During the registration process, UPSC requested the father's name as mentioned in the Matriculation exam certificate. However, my certificate does not specify my father's name separately . Consequently, I entered my father's complete name (i.e., Nagargoje Vitthal Haribhau).
In my matriculation certificate, my mother's name is mentioned without her surname and last name(i.e., Hemalata). However, during the OTR, I provided my mother's name with her surname and last name(i.e., Nagargoje Hemalata Vitthal).
Sir, please advise me if I filled it incorrectly. If so, kindly provide a solution.

To abhi se badal du..ki abhi whi bade wale se photo click krlu..bad me interview ke time frameless??
2. Beard 2no. Point shi rhegi bro for interview?... I dont prefer clean shave
3. Bhai bal ka bada issue lgra...mera spike haircut h suresh raina type😂...to whi rakhu ki change krke hi photo lu....kyuli interview me to offcourse mne socha tha ki decent haircut me jaunga(not spike cut)

To prelims, mains me b bilikul wrse hi jana hai kya
Imterview to smj aata h panel betha h
Bt is it v imp in pre mains also?
Bcoz ita kon dekhta h kya haircut h, beard kitni grown hai in prelims and mains?

@Sandip_burnwal yes u need it many times they don't accept it in interview stage then it would cause problem to you and you might be rejected in interview stage
i have uploaded my pic in this format , is it correct or i have to change ? It's mentioned in the blue notification bar as well, the one on the homepage of the commissions website.
