CSAT 2021 Practice Questions

4. The action-packed sequence of the events last evening had left the entire town rapt in thrill and awe, it was one of those incidents where a comedy of errors had taken control of all action. It seemed like an endless hustle between two very well prepared competitors in the game of tennis or chess, the fact that it was something through which no one came out hurt was also delightful yet surprising.
According to the passage, which of the following is correct?
(a) The passage narrates a sporting event
(b) The passage narrates a cultural event that is undertaken often by the town
(c) The passage narrates a fictional storyline
(d) The passage narrates an event of excitement and thrill, which achieved some value for the people, though it could have cost them too if it had gone wrong
@Naadan_Parinda No actually I am not talking about Wednesday issue, I am assuming by next Wed(8days) it can be 24h +12 min late which will appear as 12 min to us only.However, seeing the other 3 options It should be delayed by less than 24 h ie 12 min only and ans should be (d) then.According to me, in order to be 24h+12min late, it will take (16* ((24*60)+12)/24) days i.e 968 days.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

no you are not getting what I am trying to point out. It would be confusing for others let it go. :p let it be simple question for now.Ps- Upsc would keep it easy won't twist much.We can discuss in chat if you are interested. Then one mistake I did. It is 12*n h+ 12 min rather then 24h.
Oh no, dont put things in chat. Most information that should be easily searchable for eternity is created and lost in telegram groups and emails.

While solving the question these situations just crossed my mind. However, not relevant to question as neither option is satisfying. Feel free to ignore, and let me know if there is a mistake otherwise.
A group of 630 children is seated in rows for a group photo session. Each row contains three less children than the row in front of it. Which one of the following number of rows is not possible?
a. 6
b. 3
c. 4
d. 5
Arithmetic progression.
Each row has people as below
A, A+3,A+6 and so on.
Sum = n/2(2A+(n-1)d)
630 ×2 = n()
.. can't solve!

I think the assumption of 'illusion' is wrong way to interpret the question. It is clearly mentioned that the watch 'becomes' slow by 5 minutes, and not 'shows' 5 minutes slow. Anyway, nice effort. Question can also be asked this way.
