Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Time studied 7 hours
Fluids, mechanics 2020 questions ->done
Statics (Catenary + virtual work) ->80% done
CA revision ->60% done
Environment ->60% done
Newspaper ->done
Today was a very distracted day (particularly with the shock of the Messi news). I was tired too. That meant not so effective studies. I'll take a break, as planned, on Sunday. So I'll try to push myself as far as possible tomorrow.
Thanks for the group bro! I will have to admit that seeing you guys clocking so many hours consistently has given the external push that I usually require to keep the momentum going. Special thanks to -@Infinitybeyondinfinity @LetsGetThisBread @Celeborn @sjerngal you guys are doing great keep up the great work!
True bhai! The number of hours I study has doubled this week compared to last week. All thanks to you all
So I thought that being away from Forum and this thread may reinvigorate the animal spirits but alas!I have struggled to put in decent amount of hours on a regular basis starting this July. I need to pick up again and the amount of zeal that I see on this thread is tremendous.
So the targets for 4th August 2021(Day 10)
Between 7 and 10- Complete Machiavelli
Between 10-2- GS 2
Between 3- 9- GS Notes
Between 9-11- PYQs of PSIR
11-11:45- Newspaper.
So I started pretty decently in the morning today. Finished Machiavelli as well a decent portion of Target 2. But then, all the enthusiasm went into a drain when the UPS backup went off(There was no electricity since 2 am last night). After that,I only managed to read newspapers and cover today's CA. So for
Day 11(5th August)
Targets of 4th August+ Hobbes(if possible) since tomorrow is an action packed day at Olympics.
To PSIR folks@LetsGetThisBread @sstarrr @balwintejas and others,
So while reading IGNOU notes on Machiavelli, I came across this thing"Machiavelli was the first pragmatist in the history of political thought".It wasn't explained much. I tried googling it around and came across conflicting justifications. So how to approach if a question around this aspect of Machiavellian thought comes up in the exam?
Good night folks!
Did a good deal of the leftover stuff. Didn't do Hobbes. There were many breaks in the study hours, though. What a day for India in Hockey and what a guy PR Sreejesh is! I just hope these games bring in some change in what is otherwise a cricket obsessive country.
Targets for Day 12(6th August 2021)-
6:30 - 9:30- Hobbes
Between 9:30 and 1:30- GS
1:30- 7:30- College
8:30- 11- CA Notes of August
11- 12- Newspaper
@balwintejas You are right. Even I think I overthought there.
@LetsGetThisBread Thank you.
Good night Doston!
Did waste whole of today. Only completed CA and Newspaper. All in all, not more than effective 2 hours.There is so much of guilt today. These Day 12 targets are up for tomorrow too.

And guess who was on the top till 9 pm ;)
@Rashmirathi hey thanks for the encouraging words!
What are you people referring for environment. Shankar is standard I believe , but seeing many people talk about other sources . So just wanted to confirm
I have made notes out of shankar and pmf ias in previous attempts.
In my opinion one should keep 1 book as source (recently updated) and 1 compilation of any coaching institute for current happenings.
