Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.
Moderator Update: This thread has crossed 1 million views and has thousands of comments slowing down the website. We are closing this and moving to the next thread

Watched Neyawn's video in the evening. Made me realise how ill-prepared I am for mains 2021.. Jo haalat abhi hai, usmei toh 280 bhi mushkil hai... 450 toh bahut dur ki baat hai.. :(
Demotivated AF.. considering the fact that even if I sit for 12 hours in a day there will always be something or the other unfinished in my to-do list...
What else did I expect??????
Could only do newspaper, and CA class will try to be more productive and increase the efforts from Tomorrow onwards as now my condition after pre is like -
थकना भी लाज़मी था कुछ काम करते करते
कुछ और थक गया हूँ आराम करते करते
Which CA classes are you doing? Would appreciate if you could share the details and review. Thanks
Can anyone please review Dipin sir's CA classes? Anyone please help!+ves ->1) The content is really good. You get quality value addition points 2) You learn a lot about answer writing especially how to structure your answers. 3) The coverage is good. I joined after Mains last year. Before joining I compared last year's papers with the class notes. A good number of questions could be attempted from the handouts
-ves 1) It can get overwhelming. Each class has a lot of content. Plus if you join now, there will be 30+ classes uploaded on the portal that have already been conducted. You'll have to cover them along with the ongoing live classes (approx 2-3 per week). 2) The classes do get a bit monotonous, especially when there is no audience for interaction. It's difficult to complete a class in one go. I usually watch at 2x speed in two shifts minimum. With offline classes resuming, things will be a bit better though.
If you don't have any financial constraints, you can go ahead and join them. If things get too overwhelming, you can just skip the classes and directly study from the handouts. Even that will be useful in itself.
@Punjabi_Snow_Leopard I am doing Dipin Sir’s CA classes ,you can check this@Celeborn bhai have summed it all

Hello@Neyawn , yesterday you spoke about expecting some changes in the pattern/marking system in GS, could u elaborate what could be the possible changes ( since upsc asked sports question after ages in this pre, seems likely too)?

Targets for today
1.newspaper
2.continue ethics

4.answer writing tlp
Well, honestly, I have slacked since the last ten days without much ado. A week was probably a necessity but rest was simply indulgence.
Time to stop ignoring the prelims tamasha and set eyes on the mains gambit. So here are some pointers for self:
1. Deadline for mains coursework completion - 31st December
2. Handwriting issues - emphasise on neatness rather than beauty (probably a sound life advice across other spectrums as well)
3. Answer writing - start writing short-hand notes first and after 25th begin with the paper writing, don’t be afraid to not know or know less. There is scope for “aggressive expansion”.
Target Today :
1. Ethics content building
2. Optional paper 2 ( sectional revision)
3. GS Paper 1 (commence geography)
4. निबंध लेखन (in 60 minutes with overarching emphasis on neatness and correct spellings)
Shaky start yesterday, need to up the ante mostly.
22/10
1. Optional paper
2. Ethics
3. Write an essay
