Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Upsc hasn't bothered quite that much but still had this doubt
Usually, I take an achaar parantha roll and farmlite oats almond cookies- tasty, filling and fibrous (would hopefully give sustained energy for three hours :P)» show previous quotes6 hours N95? I didnt see anyone do that except my doctor when I got COVID and got admitted to hospital. I dont think there will be too many people at the center. 9k across the entire country! reason why they will go ahead with the exam!
There are many people at the centre because there are countable number of centres, unlike Prelims. I am not sure about the hubs like Delhi and Blore but small states like Bihar and Odisha have just 1 school/college each, FOR THE ENTIRE STATE. Everyone from the state flock to that one institution, make staying arrangements, fooding arrangements between the papers. The logistics is not just difficult for the Commission, but also for the aspirants.
Having said that, I am sure exam will happen. अडियल्पन्ति की कोइ सीमा नही ।

Ps. Plz let me know what you will be snacking on between papers, esp those who have travelled alone to a different city for the papers.
I even heard at some centres they asked people to remove their belts, hair clips/pins etc. And it was on a humid day too. Wonder whether this much of stringency was to cover up the already leaked paper fiasco.@Villanelle they create ruckus over shoes in state pcs exams. Even asked people to take them off and paraded them barefoot in haryana pcs. And after all this clownery, we get to hear it was rigged and it's most probably cancelled.

Last year a guy sitting next to me forgot his admit card at home for Mains. Even he was allowed to sit for the exam and told to bring his admit card for second paper.
First time I saw a candidate writing any exam without an admit card.
O yeah. UPSC is pretty chill. We can fathom by its (in)action wrt COVID concerns.
At least release a note saying Exam is happening no matter what. I wonder how difficult is it to release a statement!

The only thought in my mind right now is if public transport will work on weekend in Bengaluru. My private taxi person is already asking for a 1200 Rs for 8.5 km one way.

I have shifted from "What can I do about the exam" mode to "How can I manage to give all the 9 papers mode" as you can gauge from my doubts above. Anxiety, regret and fear are overtaken by simmering anger.
