Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

Hey@Vinay12 Good going. Just keep it up.
All the best. Bye.
In general, it is better to complete static syllabus first; particularly in economics, polity, environment, history. Reading current affairs without completing static is an uphill task and you will spend much more time than required, because you won't understand much.
Hello@thistooshallpass, how many attempts have you given for prelims examination? Did you write the prelims this year? Just wanted to know.
yes , this statement is correct. 42nd amendment act. Art 31 removed from FR to Art 300
Hi,
I checked the Shankar Ganesh Book for economy, it is a very thin book as compared to the other's like Sriram or Ramesh Singh.
Can it just be used? Also, what shall I do, Mrunal videos are not helping me much.
Yes, you are correct. I had in fact already told you that it is book just for having basic concepts in Economy. The same is case with Sanjeev Verma. Though Sanjeev Varma has some really good contents for Mains but still anyhow you will have to go for either Ramesh Singh or Sriram IAS. Ramesh Singh is my fav, you may try it once. Also, for economy you will have to leverage Niti Aayog's Strategy for New India @75 document as also Economic Survey as and when it gets released. Vision IAS Value Added materials will also provide you requisite contents for Mains. Mrunal though liked by many candidates never really appealed me so can't comment on that.
@Gaurav thanku 🙂
It was nice interacting with you and others. Now time to take a break from Forum so that can concentrate upon my studies with utmost focus. Also, my Brother laser printer which was shipped from Haryana is reaching here today and so shall start full fledged studies from now on. Best wishes to one and all. :)

Also rely on the internet if you don't understand specific topics like Balance of Payments (extremely important from Prelims perspective). I used websites like investopedia and arthapedia and just google in general.

I have. I appeared for Prelims this year but couldn't clear. I am now preparing for next year.

Shankar ganesh is only for understanding basic concepts. U have to add it with ramesh singh/ sriram notes since mains will require more understanding,knowing concepts (assuming ur prep is on mains too). stick to the std book (ramesh singh/sriram) as "the one". And shankar ganesh when u feel u can't understand concepts from that book(online pdf is thr).
And ditch it,if something is nt useful( only inanimate objects :))
