Hello 2021 aspirants. I thought it would be nice if we can share what we are doing and intend to do with one another here.
This could be a thread for discussing everything prep for 2021.
No one method fits all but to see the plans and progress made by fellow aspirants might help with the finer details of preparation and also keep one on track.

@DeekshitaP Graphics look so promising!
For forest?
Hello friends, it’s a new day, and as one of my favourite boys would say, “let’s get this bread”
14.6.21
World history
PSIR- organisations
Daily C/A
Righting with my right hand (EDIT: cant believe this serendipitous pun happened and I didn’t notice it)
AWP
That’s all, folks!
World history aaj hi start ki h na ???
I started day before yesterday, didn’t do it at all yesterday. So its almost like I started today itself 😅
Same pinch 😅😅 I will try aaj thoda ho jae
Heheh I’m hoping my inclination for world history would help me get through it fast. Warna I find GS 1 subjects the most difficult to get through for me
Idr to sb kuch hi slow hota h :p
Start karne ka mahurat ho gya. Have a bad headache today, keeping it simple so as not to start my crazy backlog spiral again. Plan for today:
1. Incidentals and warm up reading
2. Essay foundations
3. Clearing VAM backlog (atleast 2 booklets)
Message to online entertainment portals: I'm stronger than you.
Is forest useful? Does it translate into actual study hours or is it cheatable?
I find it pretty useful. You can alter settings, if you do want to cheat. But I have it set for can't open other apps during the session, also the tree withers if you do. I also like looking at the trees I have grown and getting new varieties seems like a fun game.
But when I start a session, I make sure I don't have to get up in real time or use any app.
@Bepop that countdown timer is really cool. Which app did you use to put it up?
It's final countdown
@DeekshitaP There are two modes of Forest. One in which you can switch between apps but your plant won’t die and the other in which you can’t switch at all else your plant dies. Latter is fairly useful if you’re intent on not letting any plant in your forest die. You won’t be able to use any other app. That being said, nothing can stop youtube binges on laptop :p So wasting time only needs a little willpower.
Ah ok I’ve only seen one of my friends use it. Thanks for this :)

That sounds pretty useful tbh.
So, spent my first quarter doing nothing. No regrets as I was enjoying the rain! Too lovely to miss.
Now targets--
1) Neolithic Period
2)Akbar Sama's expansion
3)Akhbaar
4)Daily stuff
Proper wasting of the entire day. Lesson learnt. You cannot recover from a bad start, especially in my case.
Won't be able to study today!
kal koshish karenge.

Don't know you find it good you can do just very small target say 1 hour study with one small topic help you came out from inertia

There is a chrome extension available. It has blocklist/allowist mode. I use this while working on the laptop.
@MaeveWiley @DeekshitaP no app gonna work how much u try until someone develops a app for mind and heart or u yourself develops a greater willpower to resist (from personal experience)

Haha true. Being disinterested in the world altogether works like a charm 😂
