This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. why do people here have unachievable targets on a daily basis?
they are unable to complete them and feel disappointed at the end of the day.
isnt it wise to have small targets, achieve them first in one part of the day folllowed by doing other parts in the rest of the day. then reviewing it finally. this will hold accountable at all times and not just at the end of the day.

I think it depends on the type of people we are. Different ways of planning will help different people. If I achieve my targets for a couple of days I begin to think that I'm putting in less efforts than required and that disappoints me a lot more than not achieving my targets.
What I do is that while I probably do set unattainable daily targets, I try to keep track of them week by week so that I don't drift away.

I seriously struggled a lot because of my habit of making unrealistic targets..and as you mentioned it only gives disappointment..! I guess it depends on the productivity ( per person) and mindset..! Someday you will be able to complete 1 long chapter of Laxmikant and there might be a day jab 2 page bhi nahi honge..! Also.. I recently changed my routine..Now i prefer to start my day on a slow note..!
And making small target's won't help in April and May( i guess)..But yes I believe according to the capability targets bnane chahiye because not everyday goes as planned..!

mera sare targets subah uthke mood ke hisab se bante hain
agar aj political theory wali ncert dekh li toh modern india revise karne ka man hua. usme bhi book nai uth rahi toh ek sectional mock laga lia. sare nahin dekh sakte toh 50 dekh lie. uske notes bana lie. wrong or correct i see all. questions.
fir wapas se polity khatam kar lia.
i cant finish each subject in one go. things are too widespread. but i keep track of what all i have covered.
some subjects are out of loop as not all 6 subjects can be done.
current affairs is not in priority.
i have my own ways of punishing myself if i dont do what im supposed to do

Tomorrow is weekend. We will finish it off in Dhoni’s style !

Wishing everyone a healthy weekend !
Sudden change in middle of the day, gave myself a half day off. This break has come after a long time. I zoom called my college friends, the laughter that followed was unprecedented. Fond memories !
Reviewing now - all done except opening the book Laxmikant.

Decided to take two days off as nothing was going as planned and concentration went completely haywire. I feel you@Wordsmithyy_nehrubose.I too have been preparing in complete isolation and it does take a toll on your mental health.

Yesterday all done except Ch 4 of geography NCERT. Will do it today. Yesterday got another sign from God/Universe, whatever you call it, if you are really up for a thing give your 100% without thinking about it, doors will automatically open for you. Just remain true to yourself.
Keeping this in mind, moving ahead.

February was good for the first 20 days and then it all went haywire. Need to ensure consistency. Had massive inertia to do anything yesterday so I did the SFG test, newspaper and substitute agriculture with studying the budget. No progress on environment.

Finished environment, did newspaper and started S&T. Could not touch Economic Survey or the test. Have to figure out a way to be productive post 6 PM, losing a lot of time!

Win finally able to finish S&T. Now onto the final set of NCERTs. Going to take a different approach in terms of doing economic survey and hope that it works out, no point in finishing old backlogs only to get new ones.

Had a half day yesterday since I needed that break. My stamina has reduced a lot. Finding it harder and harder to sit for longer hours. Persistence is the only way ahead I guess.
