CSE 2022: Plan/ Strategy/ Daily Routine

This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

--------

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

— Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

This is insights survey on expected marks

This is insights survey from last year.(2021)

50% students were scoring above 90 in that survey. Only 37% are scoring above 90 in this survey.

So you can understand which direction the cutoff is likely to move.

The law governing the subject of wildlife, the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, does not discriminate between animals found in protected areas and outside. It provides for equal protection for wild animals irrespective of where they are found. As per the law, wild animals are not the property of the government, and an animal which is wild in nature and free cannot be in the ownership of either the government or a private party.Only if the wild animal becomes a danger to human life or is diseased or disabled beyond recovery can it be allowed to be captured or killed by the competent authority, the Chief Wildlife Warden of the State. This provision is applicable to wild animals listed in Schedule I of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, which includes leopards. Mere apprehension or fear that a wild animal could endanger human life is not a ground for capture or killing.

- verbatim from the hindu

Interesting. I read the bare act and seems like you may be right.

@ScarredEngineer there is no point in detailed discussion over the paper which has happened. Let’s assume one or two key’s as final and guess our possibility. I am scoring 82 in worst case and 90-92 best. How about you?

Such surveys are useless and generate needless anxiety. and also they are very wrong because some nice mathematician said there are lies damn lies and statistics. if you want   "UNPEACE OF MIND" kindly take these surveys seriously. janheet me jaari

"It is an initiative to support Low Income Countries with unsustainable debt."

A statement in question no. 34, set B. Can't we take it to mean that support would result in unsustainable debt? The lines make it ambiguous to have two meanings, I took the 2nd, 1. Unsustainable debt is for the countries, 2. Unsustainable debt is meant for the support to be provided.

@javelinthrow Damn, I'm getting exactly the same. 82 according to ForumIAS ka key & it goes up till 91 according to some others. What a soup I've landed myself in my first attempt - had no idea that time post prelims was going to be a lot more harrowing than before it saala. Was doing MGP answer writing since October. And post every discussion teachers would recommend that I give a good 4 months to Prelims but nahi I was over confident ki Prelims kya hai 2 mahine main hojayega sab kuch aaraam se. Trusting your teachers is the single biggest learning for me!

@javelinthrow Damn, I'm getting exactly the same. 82 as per Forum's answer key and it goes uptill 91 according to some others if I cherry pick answers that may be correct. This is my first attempt and what a soup I've landed myself in. I'd been writing MGP answers since October and post every test teachers would recommend I give at least 4 months to dedicated prelims preparation but nahi saala I was adamant ki nahi main to 2 hi machine dunga. Ab itne heavy scenes hogaye hai ki Prelims ke ek ek word pe research chalri hai instead of Mains ke syllabus main mentioned terms ke.

Trusting your teachers almost blindly is the single biggest learning for me.
