CSE 2022: Plan/ Strategy/ Daily Routine

This is an everything thread for all stuff 2022. You can post your daily goals, end-of-the-day updates, weekly targets or any weird thing you use to measure your progress. You can put into words & post the soul-sucking sadness that is threatening to devour you & your productivity. You can write what made your day & let others experience the happiness too, at least vicariously. This is a thread to pick each other up. This is a thread to keep each other accountable. This is a no-judgement zone.

--------

“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don't get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can't do anything, don't get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it's ready to come undone. You have to realize it's going to be a long process and that you'll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

Thanks!

Searched for these in Vision's 2022 PT365 & Hindu of last 1 year (May onwards, with site:thehindu.com filter on google), and couldn't find most of them. That's why I asked.

Miyawaki was present in vision march 2021 magazine and biorock in jan 2020.

@morsmodre Miyawaki was in news for sometime.

Yeah, shouldn't have clubbed Miyawaki with others. Found at-least 3 articles in national section on Miyawaki from this & last year.

Best recourse to prevent such a thing would be to delete the account, but Forum doesn't provide that option.

Has anyone submitted any representation on the UPSC online representation portal?

  1. How is it?
  2. You should screenshot resources and send it?
  3. Can we send for multiple questions?
  4. Is it worth it?
  5. Has any of your representations accepted by UPSC?

Thank you. I badly wanted to pitch for the red book for environment , but was not doing it for I wanted someone to have read it and give a review.

( Though privately, amond people I personally know, I have asked them to safely look at the Red book for EnV. Currently it does justice to the exam. I love the PMFIAS one as well - with cool graphics and all, but when it comes to competitive exams, you need somthing quick, racy, crisp, concise with high content density )

Some of the best mentors and people in Forum have worked on it.

UPSC has repsonded to representations in the past. Key has been modified also because of that. Please go ahead if you want to. It may not unqiely benefit you, but may benefit the whole community.

I just don't understand how can people accept option 3 in Software as a service question. Arey SaaS is software kiraya pe. Like Office 365 or Adobe illustrator. These heavy softwares are given on rent. It cannot under any circumstances be compared to Gmail. SaaS vocab hi last 7-8y me aaya hai. For eg - if you want to use Adobe Photoshop, rather than downloading, installing, you pay and you use. Heavy software ke rent model ko SaaS kehte hai, not web based mail clients ko. In the name of "ho bhi sakta hai" log D maar rahe hai. But, it is plain wrong.

There is pricing involved in SaaS and mail clients toh 2000 se hai, still why this vocabulary being used now? Office 365 is the perfect example of SaaS. You are using a heavy software online, by paying for it. I think any CS engg would vouch for it.
