@12432TrivendrumRajdhani mate I’m sure a pious man like you would be oblivious but the video was a satire on a popular porn theme.
Maybe the urge is too strong but a simple advice from my side would be not to consider everything in life as a philosophical essay.

@SergioRamos ji, and others who have commented and liked that video, I humbly think that the last video you posted, was bit sexist in nature. It normalises the norm, usually prevalent in our society, that, "it is the women who 'misguides' the holy men, from their work". It resembles some of the distasteful jokes circulated on my family whatsapp group, by men, obviously, which under the pretext of being a harmless joke, exhibits nothing but male anxiety of feminine expression. Be it the 'pati-patni' (husband- wife) jokes which garners highest attention in family gatherings, or be it the videos like this, I am sure majority of women won't approve of this, specially coming from a gentlemen of your repute. Please pardon me if my message took some harsh tone. I am always an admirer of your writing style. Aapsey hamesha naya seekhne ko milta hai. I infact look forward for your posts and memes. Iss aasha mei ki aapse aagey bhi naya seekhne ko milta rahey.

Yes. And not just this, right off that bat it perpetuates the stereotypical notion that attractive women are shallow, dumb and superficial. Or the way they dress has some ulterior motives other than just a simple personal choice. Our lives don’t revolve around men.

That video was in bad taste. Kind of disappointed.

I’m not sure in case it is allowed to be posted here, but then personally sending on forum messenger is more laborious. Posting for everyone around. Forgive the innocent act of posting ethics videos unethically.

@12432TrivendrumRajdhaniI respect and agree with your opinion. However, I do want to give another perspective.

I might be totally wrong here. If the gender roles were reversed in the video, the guy might have been called out for making inappropriate advances towards the lady. In one of the interpretations (including yours) - it can be said 'it portrayed notion of women misguiding men'. Other interpretation can be of that the lady was making inappropriate advances towards the guy.

However, I dont think any of us liked because it portrayed any of above. It just felt humorous. That can be debated whether this thread was the right place to post the video. If majority consensus comes that the video portrays sexism, then I would also point out towards dialogue of Hera Pheri movie on the lines of - "Aurat ka chakkar, Babu bhaiya.." which is a meme material. The same dialogue happens in friends circle also when anyone has gf/bf and gets low marks or gives low attention to their friends. It can be interpreted to being sexist. But, another interpretation can be they are just teasing their friend using humor.

As I said, I can be totally wrong here. But, I think we should also see the intention of the video/message etc. Maybe it has such happened that the jokes have become so normal that we feel it very okay to use in our daily lives.

The video is clearly calling out the absurdity of PRAWN.

@farzicoder agree with you. Many of our memes and jokes and cultural artefacts in general are sexist. It is difficult to realise it when we are used to them. I have said sexist phrases myself without realising they were sexist, just because they are so common. Sometimes things that are sexist against men, sometimes sexist against women. Realised it only later.

So the intent can definitely be good, of spreading some cheer, as it was in this case, and the message can still be a problem. They’re not mutually exclusive. No one person can be held responsible in this case. It is a whole culture that is at fault. All we can do is understand our mistake and try to not repeat it, so that we do our bit in curing that culture :)

It satirises one absurdity - of men losing every brain cell in the presence of an attractive woman. Why can’t the other absurdity, of how that woman is portrayed, be criticised? Even if it’s satire, it still makes use of that sexist trope to make its point, and that point does not help the portrayal of women in any way. Just because it’s comedy, why is it exempt from any critical analysis?

@whatonly you know what happens when we choose to ignore context.
What happens is YouTube doesn't differentiate between nazi content and educational videos  about Nazi history. You can make a point that people might still be influenced by it, that some neo Nazi is sitting in his basement watching it.

Don't you people think that this is not the place to have a " satire on a popular porn theme " ?

Don't you think we people have better jokes to come up with?

Actually, that joke comes from an age-old plumber meme in Porn movies. Even the bald guy here is kinda portraying the infamous plumber/Doctor/Electrician/Pilot/and whatnot, Johnny Sins.
As@Bepop  said, it is just a comical take on the absurdity of the porn plots.

Maybe I chose the wrong thread to post stuff here. Just got a bit carried away by the meme spree I guess. :D

My unconditional apologies to anyone who felt bad. I Will try to keep it strictly studies related stuff here as someone pointed out to maintain decency too.
No hard feelings. :)

Initially when I saw@12432TrivendrumRajdhani Comments I felt like telling him bhai DON'T MAKE IT AN ISSUE. But I remember one of his previous comments and I realized that this guy is sensitive on this issue, so just respect that.

I genuinely don't want to have a debate on such issues. That is why in my initial comment I didn't name or tag anybody, I just wrote one line that this is NOT done. I did it because I felt like people on this forum are matured enough to understand themselves, why take names.I thought issue will end there.

But looking at some of the the GREAT interpretation and justification that people are giving here I feel bad. This Is not done man.

Why is it so difficult for anybody to just say sorry and move on? You may have different perspective but cant you see some girls are getting uncomfortable?

Thoroughly disappointed.

@Usain_bolt is it your bias, that you assume I can't be a girl, since I took the other stance. But definitely context about the video apart, it might not be the place to post it.

I remember - one video was banned on Youtube as it was again and again using words - White attacking black and something similar. (Considered it as Racist)

It was a Chess game

Youtube censoring is weird. It’s like banning Jojo Rabbit as anti-Semitic and Nazi propaganda.

I don’t think the two are the same thing though. A joke can be criticised for being cringe or trashy (even an absurdist take). That does not mean one is asking to censor it or bring a law against it.
