First of all, I was not the one to link the shared video to pornography in any way whatsoever. I just complemented  the advice part because I too feel some fellow members here view almost everything they see with the UPSC angle which I don’t find needed at all. For example, for me the TVF-Unacademy Aspirant show was just for some entertainment purpose and nothing else. But here I got to see that people  viewed the show from  gender, caste, reservation, and what not angle. I mean is it necessary to be critical of everything you see, hear, feel, keeping in mind that you are a CSE aspirant? Kuch cheeez light way mei bhi toh leee jaaa sakti hai ki nahi? But anyways, they have their right to do so and so do I have to do what I feel like to. Perception difference and nothing else.

Secondly, now coming to the content of the video part, it was kinda sad as well as astonishing for me to view this video from a sexism angle. I just viewed this as some fun purpose video and nothing else. While on the other hand, I can also say that for some, this video indeed depicts a reality( there are some really lusty people out there)and I have my experiences to back what I think of, but my view is not wrt to one specific gender, but nature of a human being(ie lust), be it any gender. So giving this a gender view, is not cool, in my opinion. Above all, what I think is that Ramos bhai’s emphasis was on FOCUS/Concentration part. I guess we are at fault for giving it some porn/ sexism angle. 

 You talk about maturity aye. Let me tell you, for you it might be maturity that some person is sharing what he thinks of or is bothered by, but for others the same maturity can be to just look at what is being shared/conveyed, smirk/ make a red tomato face to oneself while scrolling, and let it go sans getting personally affected.

Similarly, I viewed what Ramos bhai shared, with latter kind of maturity without viewing it with the UPSC lens which has been created via the process of reading so many things while in preparation and linking everything of the roz-marrah life, with what i am studying/learning about.

Coming to your second question, I personally have better jokes than these, but mind you, most of them are adult jokes. I sense there is a high quantity of Decency flowing in your body, I don’t think you would be liking any of them.

Rest everything is good brother, everything is good. It was just a funny video(at least for me) meant to be taken on a lighter note and nothing else.  😉

@SergioRamos Your post is something I didn't agree upon , albeit it was in some other context and you didn't meant what some of us saw. 

But then your apology came, it was nice how you explained your point but also apologized for hurting feelings of others.

So, you do command same repute now as you had some time back. :)

I don't think you've ruined your reputation - at least not in my sight. It's one thing to make a mistake, even if the intentions were noble. Can happen to anyone.
But many would just double down and try to defend themselves.
You chose to apologise sincerely and you've carried on with your trademark humor without feeling resentful. That takes some real strength, bro! I admire you even more now. : )

shower thought

the other day i was wndering if hypocrite should be considered a negative word or an affirmation of ones humanness. When someone is called a hypocrite the idea is that the person in question doesnt adhere consistently to self-professed beliefs, ideas, attitudes etc. But is such a thing as absolute consistency between beliefs and actions humanly possible? Given that humans are a product of their environment , the structures where their initial socialisation happens are bound to leave their mark on their behavior. So while one may declare himself an atheist at the same time one might still utter jai bholenath while belching out of habit, out growing in a culture where such practice is common. Now one is not being a hypocrite here. This is not to say we shouldnt seek accountability when someone's actions are in variance of what one professes. But we should be able to differentiate between intentional duplicity and opportunism one hand and inconsistency arising out of existing structures of society on other hand. Ofcourse the the higher up the power ladder one is the more rigorous the standards to be which one should be held to.

I think @SergioRamos has genuinely apologized if he, as per some transgressed a line and in that respect we all can end the matter and move on. I mean, in today's time where toxicity and denial galore, one can only appreciate this honest gesture. It's healthy! Nonetheless, as my dadi says, "mitti paao." :P
