The Civils Mains result has been declared. This thread is for sharing your grief , joy , mixed feelings - absolutely anything and everything.
At some point we should have a thread where everyone explains their usernames :P I have high hopes that some hilarious things will turn up (although nothing beats The Patoots)Initially I wanted to keep choley bhatoore because I was craving it that day but then mujhe neend aagyi toh sleepyhead. Simple, pure and non controversial reason. :P
Dude, you talking about food all the time doesn't help, especially when I have to contend with dal-roti :P But, its a mood, big time XD
No! Uss raat Ghalib mere sapne mei aaye thhe . . . :P
Oh man. I thought this was limited to “Can I see a picture of your study room for CSE?” questions on Quora. There are complete blogs dedicated to this?
My study room looks like a murder just happened there.
There you go.
Oh man :( I was so sure Ghalib had written something about sleep and you were just translating :p

People in this real life vlog, create instagram pages, blog, create groups, share their routine etc to 'document' their UPSC CSE journey. And the first thing I ask myself is ki bhai time kab mil gaya ye sab karne ka?! Yahan mobile ka charger toh mil nai raha and here you are doing all this in a day along with your studies!
All in all, this is another shitty concept of romanticism and creating a toxic space for people who get lured only to realise the intensity of this prep much later! Zamaana bada kharab hai ji.
Here is a screenshot for all of us to contemplate about how boring our own UPSC life is. My idea of a break is usually coffee, TV Series, and Floyd in the loudest possible sound level.
So 3rd world country like.

thesleepyhead,
Taking cues from this…
Never have I ever stuck maps on walls of my room.
This can be that unpopular of a practice among CSE people as some of my friends make it out to be, is it?

Same! I find it so hideous. Poora kamra White House ka War Room bana rakha hota hai logon ne. :P
Found this utterly true.
So just shared !
Speaking of such cultures, there is another trend:Study Blogging.
Some aspirants have started their pages where they would post snapshots of their notes, their rooms full of books, and their cute tables, filled with sticky notes and a cup of hot coffee sitting right there. And then many of these future officers would like to be addressed as "Ma'am", and "Sir".
Right from day 1.
Also, study vlogging, captioned like ‘most productive day of my life’, ‘how I study 16 hours a day’. Those videos look so aesthetically pleasant that I asked my mom to gift me that multi- utility table kyunki 16 ghante ki padhai hogi to usi table pr hogi xD (kidding)
Also, how these girls are able to manage all these household chores along side studies?! I am like please don’t give ideas to my mom 😭
@SergioRamos Aur bhai, aa gaya swad :p .
I'm also planning to run a course too on the theme-How to ruin your reputation in 10 mins: A Primer. :3
Ramos, nothing depreciates your reputation mate. As I said, we all are here for learning, and unlearning. Sending something which I think will instantly lift your mood. Just wrote specially for you. Aap abhi bhi sab ki nazar mei aadarniya ho. (Skip to 1:26 second, and listen uptil 2:00 mins. Pls do, it will just take 34 seconds)

In my upsc nibbi days (thanks@SergioRamos!) I bought maps and stuck them all over with double sided tape.
My brother would sometimes wipe his hands on them. Then they tore and I took them down. The tape ruined my walls and now they look hideous in mock interviews.
I never used them either, I was too lazy to stand there so I used the atlas like a normal person.
