@skandagupta that would depend on number of candidates appearing and urgency and capacity as well. like they cancelled 10th boards. but 12th in which lesser students appear and is more important, theyll take decision in june. so decision itself coming 1 month after the original date. exams will get post poned by atleast 2 imo

10th 12th exams are critical and for kids so stakes are high. But for recruitment exams don't think they would go beyond a month of postponement now that vaccination is in full force. Expect prelims by july end

@Joeyisthebest nationwide lockdown isnt happening as far as i can tell. earlier one was under duress and fear of unknown. now we are better equipped. but still risk of mass spread is looming. especially since delhi is an education hub. now also a covid hotspot. so better safe than sorry would be the motto going forward i think. shouldnt postpone pre nor intv. but if intv get delayed, pre may also be.

@skandagupta that would be good enough for most to prep diligently

@NOLEisGOAT Better equipped is a wrong thing to say. Oxygen. medicines, beds, there is a shortage of everything. Plus the government data is fudged beyond words [Check Dainik Bhaskar of MP, Gujarat]. Plus the spread seems to be way higher than what we had last year. Have seen closed ones getting infected and everyone running around arranging for basic things. It is lot worse than what news is telling.

Still, nation wide lock-down probably won't be a good idea but gathering people for any purpose for a while can be postponed.

@Steph_Curry 2013 intv process was delayed quite a bit i think. still not sure if pre of 2014 happened before the prv result

@Joeyisthebest better equipped in that we know what we are up against. and know how to respond. we seem to be in control more. but yes the cases are spiralling out of hand and the medical infra is crumbling due to mismanagement.

Looks like deferment notices have been removed from the source code. Both EPFO as well as CSE interviews.

@Joeyisthebest maybe theyre postponing ies intv(20-23) due to lockdown in delhi upto 26th. rest may be postponed depending on emerging situation/if lockdown is extended.

Situation is very grim 🙁. Centre and states should solely concentrate on taking covid measures. It’s very scary.

@NOLEisGOAT lockdown would not be an issue, public transport is open(including cabs, auto), admit cards are valid pass, hotels are open.. so it's mostly the increase in cases

I think it was fake news

The source code news must be fake. Anyone with basic HTML knowledge can edit the source code in chrome and can depict anything he/she wants on the website (Only on his machine, not host)

@RYZEN It wasn't fake bhai. I confirmed it on my laptop. However, maybe they had put it up due to some mistake due to which they removed it soon.

@Jokar If it wasn't fake, then we may get more time for EPFO exam. I have started from last week only.

@Caesar perhaps upsc itself has become a hotbed? too many panelists/workers/candidates tested positive? who knows. hope thats not the case though

@NOLEisGOAT Doesn't look like that. 26th is not very far if you think about it. Very unlikely that they'll wait till the last day to decide for this as well. Probably IES was put hurriedly because it starts tomorrow. For rest they may take a day or two and then decide! Regarding EPFO, UPSC office has been consistently saying decision to be taken today or tomorrow keep checking the website.
