Guys, what is the best way to prepare for GS 2? Like I have the basics covered, what I need is a source/Test series/method to locate the most probable current affair topics in the exam based on which they would frame the questions.

Anybody who tried to change the centre, can you please confirm if it is only for prelims center or both mains and prelims ?

Yes, I am also curious to know the same.

Hey it's only for prelims

Have you checked it? There is no option to change main's centre?

Personally, I’ve found solving PYQs and mocks to be the most efficient way to go about it.

Also Insights posts 5 daily CSAT questions - you can try to solve them and learn what you don’t know.

This is what I’ve been doing. Though, not as regularly as I should 😬

EDIT: Also, while solving try to solve questions in a limited time. Exam mein, this was primary issue. Once you attempt over 50-55 questions you are usually in the safe zone by default.

I won't be of much help, sorry. I just solved past 5 years papers and I was comfortable, so I didn't prepare separately. But I would say definitely practise full length papers beforehand, especially factoring in the fact that you will be tired from the morning's paper. And maybe have some formulas at the ready. Good luck! :)

Step 1 -->Attempt one CSAT mock without timing yourself. It may take 4 hours but do it with best effort. This is your best possible score. If this is more than 140, skip to step 3

Step 2 -->Attempt one more CSAT with strict time of 2 hours. Attempt only the questions you know for sure. No guesswork. If this is more than 100, goto Step 3; if less than 100, goto Step 4

Step 3 -->Find out questions where you felt you knew nothing and had no clue. Study basic formula/youtube videos for these topics. Move to step 4

Step 4 -->Attempt one more CSAT mock under timed condition - take guesses as well. If this score is more than 120, skip to Step 6; if score between 80-120, goto step 3; if below 80, repeat step 3 only one more time; if below 80 twice move to Step 5

Step 5 -->Join CSAT classes and follow diligently.

Step 6 -->You are ready
