Let me quote (this is just one sentence written by him ) :
Policy reforms should lay an emphasis on process innovation and promote a business-centric approach to implementing pre-determined service quality levels (SQLs), to create a friendly ecosystem by having a state-of-the-art plug-and-play model for new enterprises, and for efficient internal supply chain management to integrate with the global supply chain.

Can someone explain why BYJUs has such a high valuation.
Predatory model be it for users or for payroll. Toxic work culture - perform or perish of sorts. Lots of references for the same but I am unsure if I can post them here.
They do not outdo competition - they buy them. Aakash and Toppr are some examples.
Read something interesting on Twitter yesterday by a VC who said that most ed-tech startups now are now aiming to be acquisitioned instead of being profitable. Sigh.

Most of the ed-tech space is farce with little to show for innovation and outcome. Mostly driven by the competitive exam industry and backed by sales team apt at selling dreams. It's a bubble, albeit one which is hard to burst. Investors look at numbers and if you could show them x number of views or y number of subscribers, you get the money.
I guess Byju would now be only second to unacademy whose marketing & publicity department is way too good. The 'product'(education) in all this becomes secondary and 'brand' takes the front seat.

My younger brother 'sadly' gave our numbers while registering with them, so now my family gets calls from Bjyu's sales team , so much so that sometimes we ourselves don't talk that much but talk to Bjyu's sales team. They have some very good marketing team, at the cost of toxic work culture.
Bjyu's and Unacademy I think work at the similar model, they buy their competitors and I think this is one of the reason.
Second being the online learning boom due to Covid 19, people prefer their children studying at home through these courses than going outside.
Third being as said growth through toxic work culture.
Anthony:Control, it's all about control. Every dictatorship has one obsession and that's it. In ancient Rome they gave the people bread and circuses. They kept population busy with entertainment but other dictatorships used other strategies to control ideas, the knowledge... how do they do that? Lower education, they limit culture, censor information, they censor any means of individual expression and is important to remember this, that this is a pattern, that repeats itself through out history.
