In absolute terms the score is not so bad, I'll take this score any day in a Vision FLT. The problem is that only we know how scoring the paper was :P 


Next test will be better :D

UPSC prelims is different game altogether- pressure, expectations, bouncer questions, length of the paper .............





I think that will always be the case with mocks , as upsc doesn't frame questions from the laxmikant and spectrum etc. But I feel this paper compensates for the unpredictability by framing the options closely which is not the case with upsc.

I am somewhat confused regarding my scores in flts. Getting 120-130 in all other coaching flts's including stimulator forum but when it comes to vision, the score is getting down to 80-100 , anyone else experiencing the same things, moreover this year vision flts are very random .

@sjerngal I think Vision and Insights have lost the plot, they play with small facts in question a lot. Those micro stuff, like 2.2 in place of 2.1; substituting unimportant names/dates. They make us over-suspicious in attempting and hence majority lose out due to overthinking and overdoing these tests. Forum and Shankar have really good FLTs this year, AROUND UPSC way of framing and twisting, so it is better to judge via these then those run of mill FLTs.

@Siddhusingh Exceptional performance in Vision FLT(especially Abhyas/Open) has inverse correlation with expected score in Prelims.  Scoring above 120 in Vision signals the retention of redundant information. Better focus on PYQs, identify major themes and revise.

These are washable .. You can wash and reuse it till the time it gets destroyed/torn..

@Master I am giving FLTs of both vision and forum. Though I don't find FLTs of vision to have the type of questions being asked in UPSC. Do you think I should continue giving vision's tests or instead focus my time on more revision?
