I can't seem to find the 'Certificate No' in my college degree. Somebody please help.

There should be one. Can you share the image of your certificate in private? In case you do not have one, put NA. If it requires you to necessarily fill a number, put your college roll number.

The address given on the provisional degree!

Those aren’t the things the commission will trouble you for.

They only trouble you for EWS and OBC Creamy layer issue.

That too , they will scare the hell out of you. Last year we had a kid work for forum for two months just because of this issue. He felt he will never get IAS. In the end out of the blue, he was told to report to LBSNAA at a notice of two days. Creamy layer issue.

They will scare the hell out of you, but with decent amount of begging, they relent and give you time.

DAF issues are the least concern area in your Civils journey. Commission, despite all grievances we may have , does not trouble you for Procedural issues or errors.

Look at the backside of degree. It should be there.

I have put the undertaking in the same pdf as the certificate.

@Charlie I personally wrote it and underlined the filled blanks. Then clicked a photo, converted into pdf and merged it with the OBC certificate.

You can take a print out, fill the blanks and attach the pdf that way.

Write it as it is, don't get much into what the language means. (btw O.Ms ->Office Memorandum)

@Neyawn sir on the corner of my certificate a no is mentioned but I am not too sure if I should mention that....it is in the format aa//no ......what do u suggest?

Sir, in the question mentioning attempts, I have mentioned 3 correctly, alongwith the corresponding roll nos.
However, in the immediately next question, Q. Whether have you ever applied for UPSC examination/recruitment?
I marked- NO, (assuming upsc is asking other exams, since csp attempts are already mentioned in previous question)
Some friends are now mentioning even the details of previous cse attempts in this question.
What should be done sir? Already submitted DAF-1.
I made same mistake last year in my DAF. Nothing will happen.

Thanks a lot @Neyawn and@TwoFace ;UPDATE: UPSC helpdesk picked up the call today and replied that we are expected to mention CSE previous attempts as well as any other exam given. However, in my case, this is not an issue, and there is no action required from my end concerning this.

@Neyawn sir, a small doubt regarding those in government service. Being in temporary service, I had imprudently notintimated My department officiallof giving this exam when I filled the Prelims form (though it clearly mentions here we have to).

Now I am working in another department, albeit temporary again.

I'd like to know your opinion, whether I should officially intimate thepreviousdepartment with abackdateas the DAF requires an undertaking of intimationwithdate of intimation (and proof of receipt as well) ?

Actually my EWS certificate is issued by Circle officer of Deoghar , Jharkhand .

Not as per upsc ,they don't consider circle officer (anchal adhikari)as a competent authority to issue such certificate....

What should I do now ?

Just a few days left to fill my DAF 1 ..

Please guide me in this regard ..

@kishankanhaiya2010240 Contact UPSC as they would be the best people to advise you about what is to be done. In any case, prepare for mains as you obviously can't get a certificate from different authority in 4 days time. Fill the DAF with whatever certificate you have for now. Worst case scenario, you would be shifted to General category and there will be always be legal options available in that case as well.
