one of the powers of Election Commission mentioned is to determine the territorial area of electoral constituencies throughout the country based on Delimitation Commission Act of Parliament. What does this power mean? Isn't delimitation carried out by the Delimitation Commission itself? Is it merely advisory?

I read once that delimitation commission consists of members from EC. Not fully butI guess CEC is member of it along with other State election commission.

Delimitation commission isn't advisory, its decisions are binding and as far as I remember they cannot be challenged in SC/HC. I am not sure.

I think it's like the President and the CoM. Everything is done by the President, but not really.

originally(for digital advertising etc.) it was 6% but in the new rules which bought e-commerce companies into its ambit for them, it's 2%.

@Shailputri Mnemonic...impact has "p" for producer, incidence has "c" for consumer. Initial burden on producer, hence impact and final burden on consumer hence incidence

He CAN NOT PARDON a death sentence, but HE CAN COMMUTE it to life sentence , etc..

The article here has bad choice of words and hence it might have confused you.

If I am not wrong Death row here does not mean Death sentence.
