Two tankers contain 850 litres and 680 litres of kerosene oil respectively. Find the maximum capacity of a container which can measure the kerosene oil of both the tankers when used an exact number of times
what does this term "when used an exact number of times" exactly mean? i cant understand the question

Considering the 2020 cutoff , what number of questions would be ideal to attempt ?
Last time attempted almost 92 , was out by 0.67 marks , I was speculating ideal attempts given difficulty level similar to 2020 ! Any insights ?
Not going with any pre set number but I feel attempting less can also be risky because vague questions me you can never really assess how many you’ll end up marking correct (as per the actual keys). Around ~90 hi probably, for me...

Looking at my score it made me feel I should have attempted less , but I second you on not attempting anything less than 90 .

If you feel so, then maybe try with less attempts. Truth is we can never really know until the paper is infront of us 🤷🏻♀️
80-85 is my zone. anything below or above results in suboptimal score. But i am thinking of going without any fixed number in mind. I feel upsc is trying to dissuade us from making blind guesses both in pre as well as mains. That's why they have started asking tough questions and trapping tukka experts, pattern decoders.Considering the 2020 cutoff , what number of questions would be ideal to attempt ?

We have a proper 'UPSC Industry' around us, kind of disappointing that we don't have people who would collate the real marks vs coaching answer key differential of 15-20 people and try to find out the right answers.
Seems practically difficult but it is possible mathematically, with certain assumptions of course.
Alas, a man can only wish!

Before getting into the exam hall I became so rigid as to attempt more than 90 , After looking at the paper also I couldnt make up my mind to do anything less than that !
